  • Publication number: 20080001827
Abstract: An antenna switch (5) includes an insulative body (50), a guide element (52), a conductive element (53), an actuator (54) and a multiply of signal terminals (51). The conductive element is attached to the guide element, and includes two conductive pieces (531) being parallel and laterally offset with each other. The multiply of signal terminals is secured to the insulative body, and includes contact portions (5111) disposed in a linear line, being parallel to the two conductive pieces and extending toward the conductive element. The actuator is for driving the guide element together with the conductive element to be moveable longitudinally such that the guide element is driven to be at a position where some of the signal terminals are in direct contact with one of the conductive pieces.

  • Publication number: 20070149062
Abstract: An electrical connector (100) includes an insulative housing (1) for receiving a number of contacts (2). The insulative housing has a base (11) extending in a longitudinal direction and a mating portion (12) protruding forwardly from the base. The base (11) defines a slot (141) from an intermediate position thereof and extending forwardly through the mating portion (12). The mating portion (12) defines a receiving hole (10) extending into the base (11). The receiving hole (10) is in communication with the slot (141). The slot (141) can counteract a deformation of the insulative housing to ensure the soldering tails (213, 223, 233, 243, 253, 262) of the contacts coplanar with one another, thereby ensuring the contacts to be wonderfully surface mounted on a PCB.

  • Publication number: 20070121309
Abstract: A shielding device (1) comprises a top cover (11) and a frame (10). The top cover comprises a body portion (110) and a plurality of flanges (111) extends downward from outer edges of the body portion. A dome shaped projection (114) is formed in a central portion of the flange (111). The frame comprises a narrow top wall (100) and a side wall (101) depending downward from an edge of the top wall. An ellipse shaped mounting hole (102) is formed through the side wall for detachably engaging with corresponding projection (114) to the top cover.

  • Publication number: 20060110979
Abstract: An electrical connector (100) includes an insulative housing (1), a first and a second signal contacts (2, 3) received in the insulative housing (1), a conductive shell (4) enclosing the insulative housing (1) and a grounding contact (5). The grounding contact (5) extends upwardly from the conductive shell to free space with bending at least one time. The grounding contact has a bending arm (51) and a tangent portion (52) formed at an end thereof. The grounding contact (5) extends from the shell (4), thus, saving the space of insulative housing (1). The grounding contact (5) and the signal contacts (2, 3) abut against the mating components of a circuit board, thereby realizing the convenient replacement of the electrical connector (100).

  • Publication number: 20060110980
Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulative housing (1), a first and a second signal contacts (2, 3), both of which are partially received in the insulative housing (1), a shell (4) enclosing the insulative housing (1) and a grounding contact (5). The first signal contact (2) has a first elongated base portion (21) extending in a length direction of the insulative housing (1), a first connecting portion (22) extending upwardly from one end of the first elongated base portion (21), a second connecting portion (24) extending downwardly from the other end of the first elongated base portion (21), a first and a second contacting portions (23, 25) formed at an end of the first and second connecting portions (22, 24), respectively. The signal contacts (2, 3) abut against the mating components of a circuit board, thereby realizing the convenient replacement of the electrical connector.
