Abstract: An exemplary electronic device includes a main housing and a cover pivotably attached to the main housing. The main housing has a printed circuit board received therein. A Hall sensor is fixed and electrically connected to the printed circuit board. The cover has a display and a speaker located adjacent to the display. The speaker includes a magnet. The Hall sensor can detect variation of a magnetic field of the magnet to output different voltages, thereby actuating the display to turn on or turn off.

Abstract: An electronic device includes an EMI shielding board, two electronic components and a flat cable. The EMI shielding board includes a first side and a second side opposite to the first side. The two electronic components are arranged at the first side of the EMI shielding board. The flat cable is connected between the two electronic components. The EMI shielding board further includes a first through slot and a second through slot both configured therein. The flat cable passes through the EMI shielding board via the first and second through slots. A part of the flat cable is on the first side of the EMI shielding board, and the remaining part of the flat cable is on the second side of the EMI shielding board.

Abstract: An optical disk player includes a main body, a disk tray, and a cover. The main body includes a top surface with a receiving recess defined thereon. The disk tray is received in the receiving recess for reading data written on an optical disk. The cover is configured for covering the receiving recess of the main body. A ring-shaped groove is formed on the top surface of the main body surrounding the receiving recess, and a protrusion is formed on an inner surface of the cover facing the main body, the protrusion is capable of being inserted into the groove when the cover is closed on the top surface of the main body.

The driving module has a rotating shaft adapted for supportively driving an optical disk to rotate. The electronic component generates heat during operation. Through holes are defined in the top cover and located at a periphery of the rotating shaft. When the optical disk is mounted on the rotating shaft and driven to rotate by the rotating shaft, air heated by the electronic component in the electronic device can flow out of the top cover via the through holes, and rotation of the optical disk facilitates such airflow.

The toggle switch includes a pin. The shell defines a through hole therein. The body of the slide button extends through the through hole of the shell. A distal end of the body of the slide button engages with the pin of the toggle switch. The pin of the toggle switch can be caused to move by moving the slide button.

Abstract: A shell of an electronic device for fixing a display panel is provided. The shell includes a main body and at least two securing member fixed on the main body. The main body defines a receiving space for receiving the display panel. At least one restricting member protrudes integrally from the main body. An end of the at least one restricting member extends toward the receiving space and cooperates with a bottom of the receiving space to define an intervening space. The intervening space is used for holding an end of the display panel, and at least two securing members are fixed to the main body to retain the opposite end of the display panel, whereby the display panel is fixed to the shell. An electronic device using the shell is also provided.
