Abstract: An image classification apparatus and method for Automatic White Balance (AWB) are provided. An input image is divided into blocks including pluralities of pixels. A hue value and a chroma value are calculated for each of the blocks. A color-changed block is detected by calculating, for each one of the blocks, differences between the hue and chroma values calculated for all blocks adjacent to the one of the blocks and the hue and chroma values calculated for the one of the blocks. A hue variance and a chroma variance are calculated for the entire input image if a number of the detected color-changed blocks is greater than or equal to a first threshold. The input image is determined as a non-monochromatic image, if the hue variance is greater than or equal to a second threshold or the chroma variance is greater than or equal to a third threshold.

Abstract: An apparatus and method are provided for performing interworking between different messaging services in a Converged Internet Protocol (IP) Messaging (CPM) service. The method includes receiving, by a CPM server, a message generated based on a user input from an arbitrary terminal; requesting, by the CPM server, a presence server to provide presence information corresponding to a recipient of the message; receiving, from the presence server, the presence information that is transmitted in response to the request; deciding a type of a messaging service for interworking based on the presence information; and delivering, by the CPM server, the message to an Interworking Function (IWF) that converts the message according to the decided type of the messaging service.

Abstract: A disclosed method detects user input to set wallpaper of a first operating system environment using an image data file, and sends the image data file from the first operating system environment to a second operating system environment along with a request to update wallpaper of the second operating system environment. The two operating system environments are independent and utilize a common kernel. The method sets the wallpaper of the second operating system environment using the image data file. The method may also establish a bi-directional client-server communication channel between the operating system environments, and send the request to update wallpaper of the second operating system environment via the bi-directional client-server communication channel. An apparatus that performs the method includes a programmable processor, and memory containing executable instructions. The processor runs multiple operating system environments utilizing a common kernel.

Abstract: Provided is an apparatus and method for providing a cell-based advertisement broadcast service in a broadband wireless communication system. In an advertisement broadcast service of a service interface server in the broadband wireless communication system, an advertisement content transmission request message containing at least one of information about advertisement broadcast content, information about an advertisement broadcast zone, and information about an advertisement broadcast channel is received from a service provider. The received advertisement content transmission request message is transmitted to an MCBCS controller.

Abstract: Provided is a method for producing corn gluten hydrolysate comprising: (a) separating corn gluten protein by removing carbohydrate, water soluble sugars, inorganic materials and fiber material; (b) preparing corn gluten protein lysate by carrying out acid hydrolysis, enzymatic hydrolysis or natural fermentation; and (c) increasing a content of branch chain amino acid (BCAA) which is included in the hydrolysate by isolating, concentrating, precipitating, desalting and filtering the resultant corn gluten protein lysate. With improved pre-treatment and concentration processes as compared with the conventional method, the hydrolysate prepared according to the present invention is rich in amino acids and low-molecular-weight peptides. In particular, free amino acids and branched-chain amino acids (BCAA) are included in large quantity.

Abstract: Methods are provided for managing media in a PoC box in an aggregation proxy server for sending media to a PoC UE in a PoC system. The aggregation proxy server receives a PoC session control data request message, which is associated with media information stored in the PoC box from the PoC UE. The PoC session control data request message for requesting the media information stored in the PoC box is sent to the PoC box. The media information is received in an XML form from the PoC box in response to the PoC session control data request message, and the media information received from the PoC box is sent to the PoC UE. The media information includes a parameter related to a stored position of media stored in the PoC box.

Abstract: A method for processing a DCD content in a DCD (Dynamic Content Delivery). When a DCD content is delivered between a server and a terminal in a DCD service system, a client of the terminal delivers the DCD content to a DECA (DCD Enabled Client Application) of the terminal. If the DECA cannot play (execute) the content, the DECA sends to the client an error notification message and a generated status value (information about device capabilities of the terminal), and the client sends the error notification message and the status value to the server. Accordingly, if an error informing that the content received from the server cannot be played has occurred, the error is processed between the terminal and the server from the point of the terminal.

Abstract: A system and method for interworking a Converged-IP Messaging (CPM) service to another messaging service. In particular, the present invention realizes a function of allowing a CPM service's recipient to receive a message sent from another CPM service's sender using a non-CPM service to which the recipient has subscribed. To this end, the present invention uses preference information of a recipient in determining a non-CPM service to be subjected to interworking. In this way, the CPM service can interwork with non-CPM services, contributing to expansion of an area where services can be provided.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an interlayer insulating composition for a multilayer printed wiring board including: an epoxy resin including a naphthalene-modified epoxy resin, a cresol novolac epoxy resin, and a rubber-modified epoxy resin; a thermoplastic resin; a curing agent; and an inorganic filler and a multilayer printed wiring board including the same as an insulating layer. The present invention can provide an insulating composition excellent in adhesion between an insulating layer and a Cu layer to secure normal operation and reliability of a final substrate. Further, since the present invention properly includes an epoxy resin and a thermoplastic resin regardless of an increase in the content of an inorganic filler, it is possible to secure the reliability of the substrate by preventing an insulating film from being brittle and improving toughness of the insulating film while maintaining a low thermal expansion rate.

According to the present invention, by using the agent for measuring an mRNA or protein expression level of the lipocalin-2 gene, a patient having mild cognitive impairment can be specifically identified by measuring an expression level of lipocalin-2, which is higher in a group of patients having mild cognitive impairment than in both a normal group and a group of patients having Alzheimer's disease.

Abstract: Provided is a method and system for requesting and granting a media transmission right of a PoC user. The method includes a PoC client transmitting an MBCP Request message to a PoC server, the PoC server receiving the MBCP Request message, determining whether a current state corresponds to a media transmission denial condition, and if it is determined that the current state corresponds to a media transmission denial condition, transmitting an MBCP Deny message containing at least one of time information of a media transmission timer and time information of a retry-after timer to the PoC client, and the PoC client receiving the MBCP Deny message, activating the media transmission timer and the retry-after timer using the respective time information, and re-transmitting the MBCP Request message to the PoC server if one of the media transmission timer and the retry-after timer, the retry-after timer having a longer time value, expires.
