Abstract: A device and method for synchronizing background images within a multi-environment operating system is provided herein. During operation, a processor running a first operating system environment will utilize a first background image for a first graphical user interface on the device. The first operating system will save the first background image to a shared image file. A second operating system environment being run by the processor will access the shared image file and utilize the first background image for a second GUI on an external display.

Abstract: Methods of fabricating semiconductor integrated circuit devices are provided. A substrate is provided with gate patterns formed on first and second regions. Spaces between gate patterns on the first region are narrower than spaces between gate patterns on the second region. Source/drain trenches are formed in the substrate on opposite sides of the gate patterns on the first and second regions. A first silicon-germanium (SiGe) epitaxial layer is formed that partially fills the source/drain trenches using a first silicon source gas. A second SiGe epitaxial layer is formed directly on the first SiGe epitaxial layer to further fill the source/drain trenches using a second silicon source gas that is different from the first silicon source gas.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for enabling a terminating-side Push-To-Talk (PTT) over Cellular (PoC) client to open a PoC session by using a pre-established session, and to maintain the pre-established session when the terminating-side PoC client terminates the open PoC session, and a PoC system and a PoC User Equipment (UE) for implementing the same. To this end, a REFER BYE message is used to terminate the PoC session while keeping the pre-established session maintained. The REFER BYE message must include information, such as pre-established session parameter information, a session IDentifier (ID), etc. Also, the REFER BYE message is transmitted from the PoC client to the PoC server, and the PoC server receives the REFER BYE message, checks the contents of a header in the received message, and terminates the PoC session while keeping the pre-established session maintained when a specified condition is satisfied.

When a PoC client performing an Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) PoC multimedia call service supports a plurality of media types, and media types supported by PoC clients are not common, a PoC session can be established to support only media types set to be transmitted in a first response message after the session is established. In addition, a method of efficiently managing a session by updating the session when a newly supported media type is provided or when a recipient of an existing media type is changed is suggested.
