Abstract: Disclosed are a method and device for transmitting a frame. The method for transmitting a frame includes a step of generating A-MPDU (aggregate MAC protocol data unit) and a step of transmitting A-MPDU. The A-MPDU includes a first AMPDU subframe and a second A-MPDU subframe, wherein the first A-MPDU subframe includes a data block, and the second AMPDU subframe includes an FEC (Forward Error Correction) coding block which is additionally used in the decoding of the data block. Thus, the STA is capable of preventing unnecessary power consumption of STA by selectively determining whether FEC information is received according to whether an error occurred in the decoded data.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are a cloud service brokerage method and apparatus using a service image store. The cloud service brokerage apparatus includes a reception unit for receiving service requirements from each of users, a service image recommendation unit for recommending one or more candidate service images that satisfy the requirements among multiple service images stored in a service image store, a cloud server recommendation unit for recommending one or more candidate cloud servers that satisfy the requirements among multiple cloud servers, a registration unit for registering an optimal service image selected by the user from among the one or more candidate service images in an optimal cloud server selected by the user from among the one or more candidate cloud servers, and a transmission unit for transmitting results of a service implemented by executing the optimal service image on the optimal cloud server to the user.

Abstract: This disclosure provides a three-dimensional (3D) microenvironment presenting defined biochemical and physical cues that regulate cellular behavior and use of the microenvironment. A composition to form the 3D microenvironment is provided by combining one or more natural or synthetic polymeric materials and substrate proteins recombinantly or chemically functionalized with a variety of bioactive peptides such as extracellular matrix-derived or growth factor-derived peptides. The disclosure also provides for devices and methods for screening for optimal combinations of the bioactive motifs in order to create an extracellular microenvironment that can regulate specific cellular behavior such as cell growth, proliferation, migration or differentiation.

Abstract: The present invention provides novel uses of a biguanide derivative for preventing or treating glioblastoma. The compound of Formula 1 and its pharmaceutically acceptable salts can be used for preventing and treating glioblastoma. Further, the combined treatment of the compound of Formula 1 and temozolomide can provide superior effects compared to the administration of the compound of Formula alone or temozolomide alone.

Abstract: Provided is a communication method by a station (STA) that operates in a power safe mode in a wireless LAN system. The method comprises: transmitting a probe request frame to an access point (AP), wherein the probe request frame includes system information identification information for identifying system information acquired by the STA; and receiving a probe response frame as a response to the probe request frame from the AP. The probe response frame includes a time stamp value related to the point of time of transmitting the probe response frame, and if it is determined, based on the system information identification information, that updated information which is not included in said acquired system information exists, the probe response frame further includes said updated information. Also provided is a communication method by an access point (AP) in a wireless LAN system.

Abstract: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating an ocular surface disease is disclosed, wherein the pharmaceutical composition includes, as an active component, collagen type II ?1 based peptide GQDGLAGPK isolated from chondrocyte-derived extracellular matrix (CDEM). In an alkaline burn animal mode treated with peptide GQDGLAGPK, the occurrence of corneal opacification is reduced as well as the expression of angiogenic factors (e.g., CD31 and VEGF). In addition, the expression of inflammatory markers (e.g., macrophages, TNF?, ICAM-1, VCAM-1, and MMP-9) is reduced while the expression of inflammation-inducing factor (e,g,, NF-?B) is suppressed. The peptide GQDGLAGPK according to the present invention may be applied to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating an ocular surface disease (e.g., a corneal disease).

Abstract: Disclosed are a novel benzamide derivative and pharmaceutical use thereof, and more particularly, a novel benzamide derivative having a structure of Formula 1 or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, and a composition for prevention or treatment of pain or itching including the above material. The novel benzamide derivative and pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof according to the present invention exhibit excellent pain-suppressive effect and, in particular, pain-suppressive effect in not only a neuropathic animal model but also other models such as a formalin model, and therefore, may be used in suppression of different pains such as nociceptive pain, chronic pain, etc.
