Abstract: An organic electroluminescence display device capable of extending a functional period of the battery is disclosed. The device reduces power consumption by using colors having a low power consumption to display an image. The present invention provides an organic electroluminescence display device, including a pixel unit with pixels for emitting red, green and blue light and supplying a data signal and a scan signal to each of the pixels to display an image; a data driver for supplying the data signal to the pixel unit; a scan driver for supplying the scan signal to the pixel unit; a battery; and a sensor for sensing a residual charging capacity of the battery, wherein a voltage of the data signal output from the data driver is controlled by the sensor, depending on the residual charging capacity of the battery.

Abstract: A method of reducing power consumption of a mobile terminal is disclosed. In one embodiment, the method includes i) detecting a residual capacity value of a battery, ii) comparing the detected residual capacity value of the battery with a preset reference value, iii) converting and establishing into a graphic user interface for a preset power saving mode, if the detected residual capacity value of the battery is below the reference value by the comparison with the reference value and iv) displaying the converted and established graphic user interface for the preset power saving mode on a display implemented as a self-emission element.

Abstract: A mobile terminal is disclosed. In one embodiment, the mobile terminal includes a display implemented by using an organic light emitting display device, a memory storing a graphic user interface (GUI) of low brightness, a key input unit to enable the input of whether the graphic user interface of low brightness can be used, a light quantity detector detecting light quantity from the external and a controller converting and establishing into the graphic user interface stored in the memory depending on a use selection of the graphic user interface or the light quantity value detected in the light quantity detector.
