Abstract: Disclosed herein are an apparatus and method for updating an Internet-based malware detection engine using virtual machine scaling. The method may include creating a scaling group and an update group set based on a first virtual machine image, creating a second virtual machine image for a running virtual machine in response to occurrence of a snapshot event in the virtual update group run based on the first virtual machine image, modifying the scale-out image of the scaling group to the second virtual machine image, updating the scaling group by triggering a scale-out event and a scale-in event in the scaling group in response to occurrence of an update event, and modifying the scale-in image of the scaling group to the second virtual machine image.

Abstract: An electronic device and method for providing sound user interface is provided. The electronic device includes a display circuit configured to display at least one object, an audio circuit configured to reproduce sound, and a processor electrically connected to the display circuit and the audio circuit. The processor is configured to configure virtual space coordinates for the at least one object, match a sound source to the at least one object, set a sound effect for the sound source based on the virtual space coordinates, and reproduce the sound source using the set sound effect.

Abstract: An electronic apparatus and a method of operating the electronic apparatus are provided. The method includes displaying, by the electronic device, a reproduction time determining mode selection screen, through which a reproduction time of at least one selected sound source file is determined; selecting a specific region included in the displayed reproduction time determining mode selection screen; and extracting a highlight section of the at least one selected sound source file in response to the selection of the specific region.
