  • Patent number: 6984920
Abstract: The present invention relates to a linear motor which draws its operating power from ultrasonic vibration above the frequency of 20 kHz which is generated by piezoelectric ceramic. More particularly, the invention relates to a linear piezoelectric ultrasonic motor which linearly operates a slider due to a frictional force generated by applying sinusoidal electric field with a 90 degree phase difference to a pair of piezoelectric ceramic. This causes an elliptical mechanical vibration on a shaking beam which is connected to the piezoelectric ceramic.

  • Patent number: 6841496
Abstract: The invention relates to a low temperature co-firing ceramic (LTCC) composition for microwave frequency represented by the following formula 1: Ca[(Li1/3Nb2/3)1-xTix]O3-?+y(B2O3.ZnO.SiO2.PbO)??(1) wherein x is molar ratio and 0?x?0.3; and y is wt % ratio and 0?y?15. The present invention relates to dielectric LTCC composition for microwave frequency that has high dielectric constants, high Q values, and stable temperature coefficients of the resonant frequency, and has sintering temperature as low as ?900° C. so as to be co-fired without reaction with an electrode such as silver (Ag). The compositions have excellent characteristics required to cellular phones and PCS in the range of 800 MHz˜1.9 GHz, which is commonly used, and laminated chip filters and antennas in the range of IMT 2000 of 2 GHz, which will be used.

  • Patent number: 6498543
Abstract: A monoblock dielectric duplexer comprises resonant holes. Conductive electrodes and couplers are formed on one side of the dielectric block, whose other sides are covered with a conductive material. The conductive electrodes in a transmit-filtering portion are formed in an inter-digitating manner while the conductive electrodes in receive-filtering portion are formed to be of pad-shape. In the duplexer, capacitances of capacitors comprised of the conductive electrodes are easily and accurately set to desired values by determining the number and/or the lengths of fingers that the inter-digitating electrodes have.
