Publication number: 20240355352Abstract: A sound source processing apparatus uses a magnetic drum to prevent sound quality deterioration and amplify the volume of sound when a sound source transmitted from a primary acoustic device is outputted. The apparatus receives, through an input end, a sound source outputted from the primary acoustic device, records the inputted sound source on a recording part (a magnetic coating surface) of the magnetic drum in a magnetic drum recorder, reproduces, in real time, the sound source recorded on the magnetic drum, and then amplifies it, sequentially passing the amplified sound source through a pre-amplifier and a power amplifier to amplify output and then sending it to a speaker. To prevent sound quality deterioration for repetitive playback, interaction caused by contact between sound sources is removed. Amplifying the volume of sound outputted in real time using the magnetic drum promotes enhanced sound quality.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 17, 2021Publication date: October 24, 2024Inventors: Sung-Do Chun, Ji Won Jun

Patent number: 11733684Abstract: An example system includes an identification engine to determine production data associated with a three-dimensionally printed object. The system also includes an alignment engine to determine a placement of the three-dimensionally printed object relative to a display device. The system includes a rendering engine to generate an image including a visual representation of the production data. The rendering engine is to position the visual representation of the production data so that representations of data points in the production data will overlay corresponding portions of the three-dimensionally printed object upon displaying by the display device.Type: GrantFiled: September 27, 2018Date of Patent: August 22, 2023Assignee: HEWLETT-PACKARD DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, L.P.Inventors: Ian N. Robinson, Mary G. Baker, Ji Won Jun, Alexandra Ju, Rafael Ballagas

Publication number: 20230038217Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein to determine positive or negative displacement distances for each pixel of an image of a graphical element. A displacement subsystem may determine surface displacement distances based on a function of a distance of each pixel to a nearest edge pixel of the image of the graphical element. A mapping subsystem may generate a surface displacement map of the graphical element to be applied to a surface of a three-dimensional object. The surface displacement map may be used to generate a mesh file and/or transmitted to a three-dimensional printing for printing on a surface of an object.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 29, 2020Publication date: February 9, 2023Applicant: Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P.Inventors: Nathan Moroney, Scott A White, Ji Won Jun

Publication number: 20220126519Abstract: A physical three-dimensional (3D) model is printed that corresponds to a 3D digital design of an underlying digital render model of an object. The physical 3D model includes markings associated with physically orientable parts. An image processing subsystem analyzes a captured image of the physical 3D model. A pose determination subsystem detects orientations of the physically orientable parts of the physical 3D model using the markings in the captured image. A rendering subsystem generates digitally posed renderings of the object with digitally orientable parts of the digital render model in orientations corresponding to the detected orientations of the physically orientable parts.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 18, 2019Publication date: April 28, 2022Applicant: Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P.Inventors: Ian N. Robinson, Ji Won Jun, Hiroshi Horii

Publication number: 20220032551Abstract: In one example in accordance with the present disclosure, a system is described. The system includes a property determiner to determine visual properties of a part to be formed. A formation determiner of the system determines characteristics of a formation of the part and a label to be disposed thereon. The system also includes a label generator to select label properties based on the visual properties of the part and the characteristics of the formation of the part and label. The system also includes a controller that controls formation of the label on the part.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 25, 2019Publication date: February 3, 2022Applicant: Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P.Inventors: Ji Won Jun, Crang Peter Sayers, Artur Pereira Sampaio, Prakash Reddy, Luis Baldez

Patent number: 11227447Abstract: In example implementations, an apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes a first channel, a second channel, a physical control interface, and a processor in communication with the physical control interface. The first channel provides a virtual image. The second channel provides a second image. The physical control interface receives the first channel and the second channel. The processor mixes a view of the virtual image and the second image based on a setting of the physical control interface.Type: GrantFiled: July 16, 2018Date of Patent: January 18, 2022Assignee: Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P.Inventors: Ji Won Jun, Hiroshi Horii
