Abstract: Disclosed herein are an apparatus and method for processing cloud streaming low latency playback. The cloud streaming low latency playback processing method in a client apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may further include checking each piece of time information about decoded audio data and decoded video data to determine whether a time difference between the decoded audio data and video data, and adjusting one of a decoding speed of audio data and a decoding speed of video data when a time difference is greater than a preset threshold value.

Abstract: An apparatus for displaying an EPG guide bar includes: an EPG data extraction part extracting EPG data from a signal through a channel; a first memory storing the EPG data; a second memory storing a broadcast program; a user interface display part producing a guide bar having a fixed indicator displaying a present time with the help of a graphic processor, sliding title areas of broadcast programs corresponding to the EPG data of the first memory in the guide bar on real-time correspondingly to the present time, and updating the title areas with a predetermined time interval centering around the fixed indicator so as to produce information indicating a record proceeding status on at least one of the title areas of the broadcast programs which are being recorded in the second memory; and an on-screen display part converting the information from the user interface display part into an on-screen display form so as to display the converted information on a display.

Abstract: An On Screen Display device and method for displaying a menu is disclosed. In the present invention, a plurality of OSD main menu items are displayed on a screen and a space between adjacent menu items is opened to display sub-menu items. Thus, a user can conveniently select a menu as the menu items and the sub-menu items are simultaneously displayed. Accordingly, a limited area of the screen can effectively be used to display more menus.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for assisting a user to make a connection between a main device and peripheral device. An illustration visually demonstrating how to connect one or more peripheral devices to the main device is displayed on a display screen. In one embodiment, the illustration shows at least one connecting portion of the main device, the connecting portion of at least one peripheral device, and the connection between the connecting portion of the main device and the connecting portion of the peripheral device. Abstract: A method for displaying a menu screen of a video apparatus which displays images, in which a finally selected menu of the menus displayed on a screen is displayed in a predetermined color, and the upper menus corresponding to the path of the finally selected menu are displayed in the same color, which is different from the predetermined color, so that a user can easily recognize a menu currently selected by him or her and its processing path.
