Abstract: The present invention relates to a biodegradable polyester resin, in which the first repeat unit comprising a first diol residue and an aromatic dicarboxylic acid residue and the second repeat unit comprising a second diol residue and an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid residue satisfy a ratio of the number of repeat units in a specific range, and the softness index of the resin satisfies a specific range, and to a process for preparing the same. Since the biodegradable polyester resin can provide a biodegradable polyester sheet or film that can be simultaneously enhanced in productivity, processability, and moldability and is excellent in tensile strength, tear strength, and friction coefficient and excellent in biodegradability and water degradability, it can be utilized in more diverse fields.

Abstract: A mobile terminal and method of configuring and executing application functions for the same are provided. The mobile terminal includes a display unit for displaying a list of all functions related to a selected application, and for displaying, in response to a request for a related function display during application execution, a related function list, a memory unit for storing a general purpose table containing mappings between shortcut keys and commonly used functions, and for storing a user specific table containing mappings between shortcut keys and related functions set by a user, and a control unit for configuring the related function list for the selected application, for executing the selected application, and, in response to a key input during application execution, for directly invoking a related function or for controlling the display unit to display the related function list and then for invoking a related function selected from the related function list.

Abstract: A text message management method and apparatus for a mobile terminal are disclosed. The text message management apparatus includes a communication unit for receiving a text message; a message analyzer for analyzing the received text message to find a digit string of successive numeric digits, and regarding the found digit string as a phone number; a memory unit for storing a spam list of spam items; a comparator for comparing the digit string regarded as a phone number with spam items in the spam list; an input unit for enabling a user to input, if the digit string regarded as a phone number is not present in the spam list, a request of spam list insertion; and a controller for inserting, in response to input of a request of spam list insertion, the digit string regarded as a phone number into the spam list.
