Firstly, foreground image data and background image data are received, wherein the foreground and the background image data corresponds to the same pixel in a display panel. Then, a foreground ratio and a background ratio are determined in response to an operational event. Next, a first value is obtained by multiplying the foreground image data by the foreground ratio, and a second value is obtained by multiplying the background image data by the background ratio. Then, an output image data is obtained by adding the first value and the second value. After that, the output image data is displayed at the pixel in the display panel.

    Abstract: The invention provides an image recognition method. First, it is judged whether a set of discrete cosine transform (DCT) coefficients corresponding to an image and/or a set of texture parameters corresponding to the DCT coefficients exist. If the judgment is no, the image is selectively performed a DCT or an inverse discrete cosine transform (IDCT) to generate the set of DCT coefficients based on a format of the image. Based on the set of DCT coefficients, the set of texture parameters is then generated. Afterward, the set of texture parameters is compared with a set of target texture parameters to generate a recognition result.

    Abstract: A data transmitting method for wireless communication system applied in a transmitting device for transmitting a number of data packets to a receiving device is provided. Firstly, n data packets are transmitted to the receiving device during the first time period, wherein n is a nature number. Next, the first accumulated number is recorded, wherein the first accumulated number denotes the times of resending the n data packets during the first time period. Then, determine that whether the first accumulated number exceeds a predetermined value or not. If the first accumulated number exceeds the predetermined value, then other communication methods are adopted and the method carries on transmitting the remaining data packets; if the first accumulated number does not exceed the predetermined value, the first accumulated number is cleared, and the method carries on transmitting the remaining data packets to the receiving device.
