Publication number: 20250094385Abstract: Herein is an accelerated interface between a database server and a storage area network (SAN). Persistent torage being managed for a database is spread across a number of storage buckets. Global distributed storage metadata is used only for tracking the location of storage buckets on different storage servers. With this approach, a very small amount of memory is needed at a global distributed level to maintain the map. Each storage bucket can have any number of mirrored replicas for further increasing speed and reliability. A database server contains a storage bucket map in memory, and uses the map to do database online transaction processing (OLTP) I/O and smart (i.e. offloaded) database operations on storage. This allows for direct I/O between database server and storage server with lower latency and without using slow and remote middleware such as a logical unit number (LUN) metadata server on a separate network element.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 13, 2024Publication date: March 20, 2025Inventors: Nilesh Choudhury, Juan R. Publication number: 20240378225Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for sentence level dialogue summaries using unsupervised machine learning for keyword selection and scoring. A service provider, such as an electronic transaction processor for digital transactions, may provide computing services to users, which may be used to engage in interactions with other users and entities. When utilizing these services, memoranda may be generated that includes text from different online interactions. To provide summarization and searching of the memoranda, the service provider may implement an unsupervised machine learning framework that utilizes machine learning models to perform text preprocessing, keyword extraction, and keyword weighting when ranking and outputting relevant keywords. Publication number: 20240323211Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for detecting whether an entity associated with a node of a summary graph is suspicious by retrieving, from a graph database storing a network graph representing a plurality of electronic communications, a portion of the network graph that includes a set of target nodes. Based on the target nodes included in the portion of the network graph, the server system generates community graphs that includes at least a target node and nodes connected to the target node. The server system assigns, based on similarities between the community graphs, the community graphs to clusters and generates a closure graph for clusters, including combining two or more community graphs within respective clusters. Based on respective closure graphs, the server system performs preventative actions relative to entities represented by nodes included in respective closure graphs and connected to the target nodes.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 24, 2023Publication date: September 26, 2024Inventors: Jia Shi, Lin Zhu

Publication number: 20240051394Abstract: A multi-screen interaction method and apparatus, a terminal device, and a vehicle are provided, and relate to the field of intelligent vehicle technologies. In this method, after it is detected a specific gesture, content displayed on a first display is converted into a sub-image, and an identifier of another display capable of displaying the sub-image and orientation information relative to the first display are displayed on the first display, so that a user can intuitively see a movement direction of a subsequent gesture. Then, a second display is determined based on a movement direction of the specific gesture, and the sub-image is controlled to move as the specific gesture moves on the first display. When it is detected that a movement distance of the specific gesture is greater than a specified threshold, the sub-image moves to the second display. Therefore, a multi-screen interaction function is implemented.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 26, 2023Publication date: February 15, 2024Inventors: Rui Ma, Ziheng Guo, Jia Shi

Patent number: 11573719Abstract: Techniques are described for providing one or more clients with direct access to cached data blocks within a persistent memory cache on a storage server. In an embodiment, a storage server maintains a persistent memory cache comprising a plurality of cache lines, each of which represent an allocation unit of block-based storage. The storage server maintains an RDMA table that include a plurality of table entries, each of which maps a respective client to one or more cache lines and a remote access key. An RDMA access request to access a particular cache line is received from a storage server client. The storage server identifies access credentials for the client and determines whether the client has permission to perform the RDMA access on the particular cache line. Upon determining that the client has permissions, the cache line is accessed from the persistent memory cache and sent to the storage server client.Type: GrantFiled: March 26, 2020Date of Patent: February 7, 2023Assignee: Oracle International CorporationInventors: Wei Zhang, Jia Shi, Zuoyu Tao, Kothanda Umamageswaran
