Abstract: A method and an electronic device for allocating computing resources are provided. The method includes: accessing a data collection server, a local machine learning (ML) server set, and a first remote ML server set, in which the data collection server stores a training data set; obtaining local traffic information of the local ML server set, and obtaining first traffic information of the first remote ML server set; generating a determined result according to the local traffic information and the first traffic information, and commanding the data collection server to transmit the training data set to one of the local ML server set and the first remote ML server set according to the determined result.
