Abstract: A system and method for providing commodity firmware packages for updating firmware in a network of servers is disclosed. A deployment server executes an update framework to provide firmware to target servers. A target server includes different hardware components and a baseboard management controller. Each of the hardware components have an associated firmware image. A management network connects the deployment server and the target server. A data network connects the deployment server and the target server. The deployment server sends a bootable disk image via virtual media redirection through the management network. The deployment server sends an upgrade framework to upload at least one firmware image associated with one of the hardware components through the data network to the remote server.

Abstract: A driver device may comprise a housing and a hole located on the housing. The hole may comprise a sealing lip. The driver device may comprise a bit holder located within the housing, and a bit socket located on the bit holder. The bit socket may be aligned with the hole, such that inserting a bit into the bit socket also inserts the bit into the hole. The driver device may comprise a spring located within the bit socket. The spring may cause an inserted bit to partially exit the hole in the absence of an external force pushing the it against the spring. The driver device may comprise a vacuum component connected to the housing, and a vacuum chamber within the housing.

Abstract: A method for inspecting functionality of a display device and a test equipment are provided. The method for inspecting functionality of the display device is utilized in a test equipment of an auto-test system. The method includes controlling an image capturing device to capture a test image shown on a screen of the display device for generating a captured image, acquiring an encoded pattern from the captured image and decoding the encoded pattern, wherein the test image is a source image generated by an image providing device superposed with the encoded pattern, determining whether the encoded pattern is successfully decoded to generate a resultant data, and comparing the resultant data with reference data to generate a comparison result after the encoded pattern is successfully decoded, wherein the reference data comprises information associated with the test image and information associated with system configuration of the display device.

Abstract: Techniques include executing a software program having a function call to a shared library and reloading the shared library without stopping execution of the software program. A global offset table (GOT) is updated responsive to resolving a link address associated with the function call. An entry in GOT included a link address field, an index field, and a resolved field, the updating including updating the index field with an affirmative value and marking the resolved field with an affirmative flag for the entry in the GOT. Responsive to reloading the shared library, the entry in the GOT is found having the affirmative value in the index field and the affirmative flag in the resolved field. An address value in the link address field is returned for the entry having the affirmative value in the index field, responsive to a subsequent execution of the function call to the shared library.

Abstract: A tracking system for positioning a user's location comprise a scan device including a light scanning module for generating a scan light source, where the light scanning module includes a point light source, a prism, a reflector and a synchronization processing module, the prism rotates with a rotation speed, the synchronization processing module is used to control the reflector to rotate with an angle according to the rotation speed, so that the light emitted to the prism is reflected to a specific direction to form the scan light source, a head mounted displayer, which includes a plurality of receivers for detecting the scan light source, for generating information about the scan light source, and an computing device for calculating the location of the user based on the information.

Abstract: A thin profile gas transporting device includes a gas collecting plate, a valve sheet, a discharge sheet, and a gas pump. The gas pump is disposed on the gas collecting plate. The gas collecting plate, the valve sheet, and the discharge sheet are stacked and assembled sequentially. Through simplifying the structures of the gas collecting plate and the discharge sheet, the thicknesses of the gas collecting plate and the discharge sheet can be reduced. Moreover, through the arrangement of several pressure relief holes, the pressure relieving operation can be performed rapidly and quietly.

Abstract: A dimming control circuit, driving device and control method thereof, the dimming control circuit comprising a dimmer, a driving device coupled to the dimmer and controlling a load on the basis of a dimming level reference of the dimmer, and a bleeder supplying power to the dimmer, the driving device including a power switch coupled to the load, wherein a duty ratio of a driving voltage on the power switch is adjusted in accordance with the dimming level reference to control an operating current of the load.

Abstract: Example methods and systems for memory leak detection. One example may comprise: identifying a set of memory buffers that are available for storing packet information that requires processing by the network device; a first subset that includes one or more first memory buffers that are unallocated, and a second subset that includes one or more second memory buffers that are allocated and storing packet information that is being processed by the network device. The method may also comprise: performing a comparison between (a) the set of memory buffers and (b) the first subset and the second subset; and based on the comparison, identifying a third subset that includes one or more third memory buffers, being leaked memory buffers, that are storing packet information that is no longer being processed by the network device.

Abstract: Software for proximity positioning that performs the following operations: (i) receiving at least one parameter via an advertising channel of a first protocol, wherein the at least one parameter is encoded in an advertising packet of the first protocol, and wherein the first protocol supports a first proximity positioning technology; (ii) extracting the encoded at least one parameter from the advertising packet; and (iii) performing, by a second proximity positioning technology different from the first proximity positioning technology, a measurement of distance based, at least in part, on the at least one parameter.

Abstract: Example methods are provided for a first routing component to handle failure at a logical router in a first network. One method may comprise learning first path information associated with a first path provided by an active second routing component, and second path information associated with a second path provided by a standby second routing component. The method may also comprise in response to detecting a first egress packet destined for a second network, sending the first egress packet to the active second routing component based on the first path information. The method may further comprise in response to detecting a failure at the active second routing component and detecting a second egress packet destined for the second network, sending the second egress packet to a new active second routing component based on the second path information.

Abstract: Some embodiments provide a method for an edge computing device in a first datacenter that implements a logical network gateway for processing data traffic for a particular LFE between the first datacenter and multiple other datacenters. For each particular other datacenter, the method stores a record that maps logical network addresses for DCNs connected to the particular LFE and operating in the particular datacenter to a group of TEP addresses corresponding to logical network gateways that handle data traffic for the particular LFE between the particular datacenter and the other datacenters, including the first datacenter. Upon receiving a data message for the particular LFE from a host computer in the first datacenter, the method uses a destination address of the data message to identify one of the groups of TEP addresses. The method encapsulates the data message with one of the TEP addresses from the identified group of TEP addresses.

Abstract: In an embodiment, a computer-implemented method for using virtual tunnel interface teaming to achieve load balance and redundancy in virtual private networks (“VPNs”) is disclosed. In an embodiment, a method comprises: receiving, by a gateway, configuration data from a control plane; based on the configuration data, configuring on the gateway a bonded virtual tunnel interface (“bonded VTI”) having a plurality of slave virtual tunnel interfaces (“slave VTIs”); configuring a plurality of VPN tunnels between the plurality of slave VTIs configured on the gateway and a plurality of slave VTIs configured on a remote gateway; configuring an IPsec VPN tunnel between the bonded VTI configured on the gateway and a corresponding bonded VTI configured on the remote gateway; logically combining the plurality of VPN tunnels into the IPsec VPN tunnel; and enabling communications of IPsec VPN traffic via the IPsec VPN tunnel.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method, system, and computer program product for comparison of database data. According to the method, a first tree structure corresponding to first data segments of first database data and a second tree structure corresponding to second data segments of second database data are at least partially obtained. Each node of the first or second tree structure indicating a characteristic value of at least one of the first or second data segments, and nodes of the first or second tree structure are divided into a first or second plurality of branches from a first or second root node based on update frequencies of the first or second data segments. A difference between the first data segments and the second data segments is determined by at least comparing characteristic values indicated by nodes in the obtained parts of the first and second tree structures.

Abstract: The disclosure provides an approach for routing traffic in a network. Embodiments include receiving, by a service router of an edge services gateway (ESG), a packet comprising a virtual network identifier (VNI) and a virtual local area network (VLAN) identifier. Embodiments include sending, by the service router, the packet to a virtual switch of the ESG based on the VNI of the packet. Embodiments include determining, by the virtual switch, a virtual routing and forwarding (VRF) router of the ESG for the packet based on the VLAN identifier. Embodiments include forwarding, by the virtual switch, the packet to the VRF router.

Abstract: A method of forming solder paste on an object is provided. The method includes providing a multilayered stencil, each stencil layer having an aperture formed therethrough from a top surface of the respective stencil layer to a bottom surface of the stencil layer. The method also includes applying the stencil to a surface of the object. The method also includes filling a void space formed by a combination of the apertures in the stencil layers with solder paste. The method also includes removing the stencil layers in a sequential manner to leave the solder paste.

Abstract: A method of utilizing the same hardware network interface card (NIC) in a gateway of a datacenter to communicate datacenter tenant packet traffic and packet traffic for a set of applications that execute in the user space of the gateway and utilize a network stack in the kernel space of the gateway. The method sends and receives packets for the datacenter tenant packet traffic through a packet datapath in the user space. The method sends incoming packets from the NIC to the set of applications through the datapath in the user space, a user-kernel transport driver connecting the kernel network stack to the datapath in the user space, and the kernel network stack. The method receives outgoing packets at the NIC from the set of applications through the kernel network stack, the user-kernel transport driver, and the data path in the user space.

Abstract: A control circuit and method for a bleeder, a chip, and a driver system. The bleeder control circuit is connected to a dimmer detector used for detecting the presence or absence of a dimmer and a type of the dimmer. The control circuit of the bleeder is used to receive a detection signal outputted by the dimmer detector, and generate a control signal for the bleeder according to the detection signal, the control signal is used to control an operating state of the bleeder. The application correspondingly generates a control signal for a bleeder according to a detection signal indicating the presence or absence of a dimmer and the type of the dimmer so as to control the bleeder to operate only at a given phase interval, and may thereby reduce the power consumption of the bleeder when ensuring the stable operation of a dimmer.

Abstract: A urea tank for an SCR aftertreatment system, and a tank cover thereof. The tank cover is mounted at a liquid injection port of a tank body of the urea tank. An air hole is provided in a portion of the tank cover corresponding to the liquid injection port. The air hole is covered by a water-blocking air-permeable film (5). A gas inlet hole and a gas discharge hole (11) are further provided in the portion of the tank cover corresponding to the liquid injection port. A first constant pressure check valve (3) and a second constant pressure check valve (4) are mounted on the tank cover. An inlet of the first constant pressure check valve (3) is connected to the gas discharge hole (11). An outlet of the first constant pressure check valve (3) communicates with the exterior of the tank body. An inlet of the second constant pressure check valve (4) is connected to the gas inlet hole. An outlet of the second constant pressure check valve (4) communicates with the interior of the tank body.
