    Abstract: A system and method for providing commodity firmware packages for updating firmware in a network of servers is disclosed. A deployment server executes an update framework to provide firmware to target servers. A target server includes different hardware components and a baseboard management controller. Each of the hardware components have an associated firmware image. A management network connects the deployment server and the target server. A data network connects the deployment server and the target server. The deployment server sends a bootable disk image via virtual media redirection through the management network. The deployment server sends an upgrade framework to upload at least one firmware image associated with one of the hardware components through the data network to the remote server.

The bit socket may be aligned with the hole, such that inserting a bit into the bit socket also inserts the bit into the hole. The driver device may comprise a spring located within the bit socket. The spring may cause an inserted bit to partially exit the hole in the absence of an external force pushing the it against the spring. The driver device may comprise a vacuum component connected to the housing, and a vacuum chamber within the housing.

The method for inspecting functionality of the display device is utilized in a test equipment of an auto-test system. The method includes controlling an image capturing device to capture a test image shown on a screen of the display device for generating a captured image, acquiring an encoded pattern from the captured image and decoding the encoded pattern, wherein the test image is a source image generated by an image providing device superposed with the encoded pattern, determining whether the encoded pattern is successfully decoded to generate a resultant data, and comparing the resultant data with reference data to generate a comparison result after the encoded pattern is successfully decoded, wherein the reference data comprises information associated with the test image and information associated with system configuration of the display device.

    Abstract: Techniques include executing a software program having a function call to a shared library and reloading the shared library without stopping execution of the software program. A global offset table (GOT) is updated responsive to resolving a link address associated with the function call. An entry in GOT included a link address field, an index field, and a resolved field, the updating including updating the index field with an affirmative value and marking the resolved field with an affirmative flag for the entry in the GOT. Responsive to reloading the shared library, the entry in the GOT is found having the affirmative value in the index field and the affirmative flag in the resolved field. An address value in the link address field is returned for the entry having the affirmative value in the index field, responsive to a subsequent execution of the function call to the shared library.

For each particular other datacenter, the method stores a record that maps logical network addresses for DCNs connected to the particular LFE and operating in the particular datacenter to a group of TEP addresses corresponding to logical network gateways that handle data traffic for the particular LFE between the particular datacenter and the other datacenters, including the first datacenter. Upon receiving a data message for the particular LFE from a host computer in the first datacenter, the method uses a destination address of the data message to identify one of the groups of TEP addresses. The method encapsulates the data message with one of the TEP addresses from the identified group of TEP addresses.
