Abstract: An air shower room (100) is connected to a clean room (200). The air shower includes a door (101), a floor (103), two side walls (104), an exit (111) and an interior ceiling (105). The door, the floor, two side walls and the ceiling defines the inside of the air shower room, and the exit lead from the shower room to the clean room. An air curtain machine (109) is positioned in the inside of the air shower room adjacent to the exit, and the floor of the air shower room is higher than the floor of the clean room.

Abstract: A method is provided for implementing data-driven QoS control in design and development of an SOA solution. The method comprises implementing a QoS layer having a first set of architectural building blocks (ABBs) and configured to specify a QoS requirement definition to be propagated through a set of components of the SOA solution to generate QoS data for controlling and managing QoS in a unified form; and implementing a data architecture layer having a second set of ABBs and configured to facilitate propagation of generated QoS data through the set of components in the SOA solution.

Abstract: A method is provided for designing and developing an SOA solution that comprises implementing a business process layer having a first set of architectural building blocks (ABBs) and configured to perform service composition and service decomposition; implementing a service component layer having a second set of ABBs and configured to perform service integration and service invocation; implementing a service layer having a third set of ABBs and configured to perform service discovery and service aggregation; integrating the business process layer, the service component layer, and the service layer; and specifying a set of characteristics of the first, second, and third sets of ABBs to be reconfigurable based upon extensible rules.

Abstract: According to the present invention, there is provided a novel method and system for supporting dynamic Web content adaptation in the mobile Internet, while retaining the semantic coherence of the site's original contents. This is accomplished by analyzing, processing, and displaying web content using several algorithms. While the preferred embodiment of the present invention is for use in a mobile Internet setting, the method and system of the present invention can be applied and customized for use in a broad range of settings and applications involving information layout adaptation and presentation across multiple platforms and devices.

Abstract: Techniques are provided for representing and configuring flexible and extensible presentation patterns based on fine-grained architectural building blocks (ABBs). The techniques include defining ABBs, modeling the ABBs in a uniform manner, and creating at least one template using the ABBs, wherein the at least one template includes at least one of pre-configured static characteristics and user-specified service characteristics.

Abstract: Methodology for a high fidelity polymerase-mediated primer extension for use in genotyping is provided. The primer extensions are carried out with polymerase having 3? to 5? exonuclease activity and primers with their 3? modification of being exonuclease-resistant. The primers are designed to have their 3? termini: 1. complementary to nucleotide to be analyzed; and 2. subject to be proofread by the 3? to 5? exonuclease of the high fidelity polymerases.

Abstract: Methods for high throughput assay of genetic analysis are provided. Genetic materials of either DNA or RNA are used as the template for primer extension using target specific primers. Following primer extension, the extended products with labeled nucleotides integrated are kept on the solid support and used for visualization and detection. As compared to other methods for genetic assay, this method is quick, reliable, and compatible with analysis of several genetic analysis including polymorphism, gene expression profiling, and sequencing.

Abstract: A method for direct measurement of multiple gene expressions at RNA level is provided. Gene product RNA isolated from biological sample is directly used to hybridize with prelabeled single chain antisense probes immobilized on a solid support. As compared to the indirect assay of cDNA, the subject method is reliable to assay all types of RNA including ribosomal, transfer, messenger, and ribozyme RNAs, as well as mRNA with partial degraded. This invention finds use in assay for multiple gene expressions, especially when higher sensitivity and accuracy is required such as for those of minor changes and those of less abundant RNA.

A template matching score is provided for an object in the video image. A Eigenface recognition score is provided for an object in the video image. These scores may be provided by comparing objects in the video image to reference files. The template matching score and the Eigenface recognition score are fused to form a composite identification record from which a viewer may be identified. Body shape matching, viewer tracking, viewer sensing, and/or historical data may be used to assist in viewer identification. The reference files may be updated as recognition scores decline.
