    Abstract: The present invention provides a waterborne polyurethane condom having a high burst volume and a preparation method thereof. The method comprises the steps of: providing a waterborne polyurethane; dipping into the waterborne polyurethane and then drying, and repeating the process of dipping into the waterborne polyurethane and then drying for N times so as to obtain a waterborne polyurethane film; rolling up an end of the waterborne polyurethane film and then drying; dipping into a releasing agent, followed by drying, mold releasing, and electrical inspection to obtain a waterborne polyurethane condom; wherein N is equal to 1-5, the waterborne polyurethane is an anionic waterborne polyurethane, and the waterborne polyurethane has a 100% tensile modulus of less than or equal to 2.

    Abstract: The invention provides a waterborne polyurethane emulsion and preparation method and use thereof. The method comprises the steps of: heating and dehydrating a macromolecular diol, and then reacting with a first polyisocyanate to obtain a first prepolymer; reacting the first prepolymer with a second polyisocyanate to obtain a second prepolymer; reacting the second prepolymer with a hydrophilic chain extender and a small-molecule chain extender to obtain a third prepolymer; reacting the third prepolymer with a salt forming agent, followed by emulsification upon addition of a post-chain extender, and by desolvation to obtain a polyurethane emulsion; wherein the molar amount of the first polyisocyanate is less than that of the second polyisocyanate, and the molar ratio of the first polyisocyanate to the macromolecular polyol is less than 1:3. The condom prepared using the polyurethane emulsion of the present invention has the characteristics of high elasticity and high strength.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a mold for molding a polyurethane condom, and methods for manufacturing and using the mold. The mold (200) has a surface roughness of 0.2 or less, is formed from a thermoplastic polymer having a surface tension of 10-35 mN/m. The mold (200) for molding a polyurethane condom is prepared by injection molding the thermoplastic polymer. When the mold (200) is used, the mold (200) is hung vertically and dipped in an emulsion containing a polyurethane resin to obtain a dipped mold (200), then the dipped mold (200) is removed and dried to form a polyurethane film on its surface, and then demolded to obtain a polyurethane condom (100). The condom formed by the mold (200) is thin and has excellent flexibility and strength, satisfying the market demand for the product.
