The method may include detecting pressure signals caused by the object at a first moment, if the authorization status is satisfied. The method may include determining whether or not an illegal tailgating event occurred based on the pressure signals. The method may further include generating a control signal for opening the at least one gate to facilitate the object to pass through the at least one gate in response to a determination that the illegal tailgating event did not occur.
