  • Publication number: 20220410841
Abstract: The subject disclosure relates to ways to authenticate a rider/user of an autonomous vehicle (AV) using biometric data, such as facial recognition. A process of the disclosed technology can facilitate the automatic unlocking of an AV by performing steps that include: receiving a dispatch request associated with a user identifier (ID), receiving a recognition model that corresponds with the user ID, and receiving an image stream including images of pedestrian faces. In some aspects, the process can further include steps for: providing the images to the recognition model, and determining if a user represented in the images corresponds with the user ID. Systems and machine-readable media are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20210304608
Abstract: To visualize planned behavior of an autonomous vehicle (AV) traveling along a roadway, a user interface engine receives data describing a planned pathway of the AV along the roadway and object data describing an object having a predicted pathway crossing the planned pathway of the AV at a cross point. The user interface engine classifies the object either an asserting object or a yielding object based on a prediction of whether the object reaches the cross point before the AV or after the AV. The user interface engine generates an image that includes the planned pathway of the AV and the object in the environment of the AV. The image of the object indicates whether the object is classified as an asserting object or a yielding object.

  • Publication number: 20160285812
Abstract: Disclosed is a method of issuing messages in a message queue. The method comprises: (a) receiving a request of entering a message into the message queue, obtaining parameter information of the message, determining priority of the message according to the parameter information of the message, and inserting the message into the message queue according to priority of the message; (b) issuing messages in the message queue sequentially according to the priority of each message. The method can optimize the timing of dequeueing message from the message queue, ensure a quick processing of the critical transaction, avoid prolonged delay of the message with lighter weight, reduce the risk of system application, and improve user's real-time interactive experience.
