    Abstract: Methods, devices, and computer-readable storage media are disclosed. In an example method, segmentation of to-be-encoded information bits of a length N into respective quantities of different types of segments is performed. The different types of segments are among (b?a+1) types of segments that correspond to (b?a+1) different segment code lengths. The (b?a+1) types of segments comprise a minimum-length segment that has the minimum segment code length of 2{circumflex over (?)}a and a maximum-length segment that has the maximum segment code length of 2{circumflex over (?)}b. The respective quantities of the different types of segments are determined based on the length N and a code rate in an orderly manner, wherein the orderly manner comprises firstly determining a quantity of the maximum-length segments and lastly determining a quantity of the minimum-length segments. Polar code encoding is performed on the respective quantities of the different types of segments of the to-be-encoded information bits.

    Abstract: This application discloses a heat-resistant protective member and a battery. The heat-resistant protective member includes a reinforcing layer, a functional layer, and a strengthening layer that are sequentially arranged; the functional layer includes a first resin and a filler dispersed in the first resin; and the reinforcing layer and the strengthening layer each include a fiber matrix. In the foregoing manner, thermal impact of a single battery during ignition and detonation can be resisted, and structural integrity under the thermal impact can still be prevented from being broken through, so as to provide effective heat insulation and protection for a battery pack.

    Abstract: Provided is a direct current voltage sampling circuit used for a medium-voltage power module. The medium-voltage power module includes two cascaded H-bridge circuits. The sampling circuit includes two sampling sub-circuits, with each connected to one H-bridge circuit. The sampling sub-circuit includes: a voltage dividing circuit connected in parallel to an output end of the H-bridge circuit, an isolation module connected to the voltage dividing circuit, a direct current isolated power supply which supplies power to the isolation module independently of the H-bridge circuit, and an amplifier conditioning module which converts an isolated voltage signal into a sampled voltage output. Parasitic capacitances of the isolation module and the direct current isolated power supply are both less than 2 pF, and the sampled voltage outputs of the two sampling sub-circuits are provided to a same local controller.

    Abstract: A heat-resistant protective member and a battery are disclosed. The heat-resistant protective member includes a compound layer, and the compound layer includes a fiber matrix and a resin. The resin is dispersed in pores of the fiber matrix and/or a surface of the fiber matrix, and a volume proportion of the fiber matrix in the compound layer is 50% to 75%. In this way, the thermal shock when a battery cell is ignited and exploded can be resisted, and the structural integrity can still be maintained without being broken through under the thermal shock, thereby providing effective heat insulation and protection for a battery pack.

    Abstract: Three-dimensional biomimetic tissue scaffolds, as well as methods of manufacture of these scaffolds. The method is fully customizable to create a biomimetic tissue scaffold with shapes, densities, and geometries similar or identical to the tissue it imitates. For example, physiologically realistic collagen/PEG villi created using the method are designed to have a high-aspect ratio and curvature similar to villi found in the human small intestine. Accordingly, the biomimetic tissue scaffolds serve as an improved in vitro model for a wide variety of physiological research, as well as pharmacological testing and drug, compound, and/or metabolite uptake by cells growing on the scaffold, among many other uses.
