  • Patent number: 8698477
Abstract: A control method for reducing audio noise is disclosed. The method includes the steps of: providing an input power source; providing a power source converter having a component with a mechanical resonant frequency, coupled to the input terminal or the output terminal of the power source converter; providing an output capacitor and a load connected in parallel therebetween; making the power source converter operate in a burst mode; and controlling the electrical energy transferred from the input terminal to the output terminal of the power source converter during an operating period of every burst cycle, so as to reduce the audio noise of the power source converter.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 12, 2012
Date of Patent: April 15, 2014
    Assignee: Delta Electronics, Inc.
    Inventors: Hong-Yuan Jin, Jia-Le Dai, Hong-Jian Gan, Jian-Ping Ying

  • Patent number: 6100032
Abstract: Two human Smad proteins (Smad3 and Smad4) specifically recognize an identical 8 bp palindromic sequence (GTCTAGAC) (SEQ ID NO: 1). Tandem repeats of this palindrome confer striking TGF-.beta. responsiveness to a minimal promoter. This responsiveness is abrogated by targeted deletion of the cellular Smad4 gene. DNA molecules comprising the 8 bp palindromic sequence can be used in assays for drug screening and diagnostically.
