The computing system further identifies a region of the cache as a candidate for deactivation based on cache hit counts. The computing system then adjusts the size of the region for the deactivation based on the leakage power and a bandwidth of a memory hierarchy device. The memory hierarchy device is at the next level to the cache in a memory hierarchy of the computing system.

The computing system monitors the bandwidth at a memory hierarchy device that is at a next level to the cache in a memory hierarchy of the computing system. The computing system estimates a change in dynamic power from a corresponding change in the bandwidth before and after the cache resources are allocated. The allocation of the cache resources are adjusted according to an allocation policy that receives inputs including the estimated change in the dynamic power and a performance indication of task execution.

    Abstract: A multi-processor system performs thermal-aware task scheduling and task migration. Based on temperature measurements, the system determines one or more thermal conditions of each processor. The thermal conditions include a present temperature, a historical temperature, a predicted temperature, and thermal headroom of the processor. A scheduler identifies a target processor among the processors based on, at least in part, the one or more thermal conditions of each processor, and assigns a task to be executed by the target processor. For task migration, the system detects that a source processor satisfies a task migration criterion by comparing one or more of the thermal conditions of the source processor with corresponding thresholds. The scheduler identifies a target processor based on, at least in part, one or more of the thermal conditions of each processor, and migrates a task from the source processor to the target processor for execution.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for digital pathology in accordance with embodiments of the invention obtain a whole slide image of a microscope slide that includes a registration mark, wherein the registration mark is associated with a coordinate system. The method inputs the whole slide image into a region identification (RI) model to extract features of the whole slide image and generate feature vectors for the extracted features, detects a presence of a region of interest (ROI) based on the feature vectors, determines a set of coordinates of the ROI in the coordinate system, and translates a microscope stage of a microscope holding the microscope slide to a position corresponding to the coordinates of the ROI. The method captures a field of view (FOV) image with the microscope and inputs the FOV image into a grading model to determine a pathology score that indicates a likelihood of a presence of a disease.

The scheduling objective is identified based on at least respective operating frequencies and loading of all processors in a highest-capacity cluster of the multiple clusters. According to the identified scheduling objective, the task scheduler schedules a given task to a processor selected among the processors in the multiple clusters.

The server receives uplink and downlink channel information, where the uplink channel information is generated based on the uplink reference signal, and the downlink channel information is generated based on the downlink reference signal. The server obtains a channel calibration coefficient according to the uplink and downlink channel information. The channel calibration coefficient is used for estimating a downlink channel. Accordingly, the problem of conventional coordination system can be solved, and the embodiment can be implemented in multi-beam base station.

    Abstract: A digital pre-distortion circuit and a digital pre-distortion method are provided. In the method, pre-distortion, digital-to-analog conversion and an amplifying process are performed on an input signal in sequence, to generate an output signal. A first bandwidth of the input signal after the pre-distortion is greater than a second bandwidth of the input signal after the digital-to-analog conversion. Signals outside the second bandwidth are filtered out from the output signal, to generate a second output signal. A third output signal, which is a signal after a pre-distorted signal is amplified, is estimated according to the pre-distorted signal and the second output signal. The pre-distorted signal is a signal after the pre-distortion is performed on the input signal. A third bandwidth of the third output signal is greater than the second bandwidth. Parameters of the pre-distortion can be determined according to the third output signal and the pre-distorted signal.
