  • Publication number: 20170216877
Abstract: A sandwich structure for enhancement of photoluminescence (PL) from luminescent films and the corresponding preparation method are disclosed. The sandwich structure comprises a support, a luminescent film grown on the support, and a single-layer close-packed microsphere array deposited onto the luminescent film. The microspheres have high transmittance excitation light and emitted light, respectively. The low price of dielectric microspheres is beneficial to industrial applications. The stable chemical properties of dielectric microspheres make PL enhanced in a long term. Both metal and non-metal materials can be used as the support in the sandwich structure. These features significantly improve the technique of PL enhancement for luminescent films.

  • Publication number: 20170084404
Abstract: An AC switch circuit coupled between an AC input signal and an AC load has a first switch, a second switch, a driving circuit, and a power generation circuit. The first switch blocks a first half-cycle of the AC input signal when turned OFF, and the second switch blocks a second half-cycle of the AC input signal when turned OFF. The driving circuit provides a driving signal to control the first switch and the second switch based on an enable signal. The power generation circuit provides a voltage signal to power the driving circuit. The power generation circuit stores energy from the AC input signal when the first switch and the second switch are turned OFF, and the power generation circuit is disconnected from the AC input signal when the first switch and the second switch are turned ON.

  • Patent number: 9467045
Abstract: A SMPS has a switching circuit and a controller. The switching circuit has an input terminal and an output terminal, and also includes a switch and an inductor, wherein the switching circuit regulates an output voltage at the output terminal based on an input voltage at the input terminal by controlling a switching action of the switch. The controller generates a switching control signal to control the switch, where the switching control signal transits from a first state to a second state when an output signal at the output terminal satisfies a predetermined condition, and the switching control signal transits from the second state to the first state after a period of time. And a switching frequency of the switch and an inductor ripple current of the inductor both vary with the input voltage.

  • Patent number: 9459988
Abstract: An optimized version of a binary and a non-optimized debuggable version of a binary for each compiling unit in the source code program are generated. The optimized versions of binaries of all compiling units are loaded into memory for debugging, which is monitored. In response to determining that a first compiling unit in the source code program is to be debugged, the non-optimized debuggable version of the binary is loaded into a memory location that was previously used by the optimized version of the binary. In response to determining that debugging of a second compiling unit in the source code program is to be cancelled, the optimized version of the binary of the second compiling unit is loaded into a memory location that was previously used by the non-optimized debuggable version of the binary.
