  • Patent number: 10203734
Abstract: A temperature monitoring system includes a temperature sensing device, a management controlling device and a logic device. The temperature sensing device monitors temperature of a central processing unit of a computer system, and sets a first temperature threshold and a second temperature threshold. The management controlling device determines whether the temperature is higher than the first temperature threshold, and further determines whether the temperature is higher than the second temperature threshold when the temperature is higher than the first temperature threshold. The logic device controls the computer system to turn on or shut down. When the temperature is higher than the second temperature threshold, the management controlling device controls the logic device to execute a forced shutdown of the computer system, locks a power button of the computer system and stores an event log.

  • Patent number: 9372517
Abstract: A reset system comprises an enable circuit, a buck converter and a reset circuit. The enable circuit is connected to a system power source. When a voltage of the system power source is greater than a first voltage, the enable circuit outputs an enable signal with a steep leading edge. The buck converter converts the system power source to a micro-controller power source according to the enable signal. The reset circuit is connected to the system power source and the micro-controller power source. When a voltage of the system power source is less than a second voltage, the reset circuit outputs a reset signal to reset the micro-controller. The first voltage is smaller than the second voltage.

  • Publication number: 20160156518
Abstract: A server for automatically switching sharing-network is disclosed in the present invention. In the server, a plurality of general-network controllers are provided to send a first network-control signal and a network-status signal. A switch module selects one of the first network-control signals as a second network-control signal according to a network-interface-selection signal. The second network-control signal is transmitted to a baseboard management controller (BMC) by the switch module. When a client operates a remote control through the general-network controllers which have sharing-network function, the BMC is received the network-status signals to send the network-interface-selection signal according to a priority list.

  • Patent number: 7816801
Abstract: A protection circuit for a wind turbine generator that includes a PWM Brake that works in conjunction with known Brake Relays is disclosed. The Brake Relay is used to short the generator output terminals at a first threshold voltage. The PWM Brake includes one or more switching devices, coupled across the generator output. The PWM Brake is under the control of a PWM Brake Control Circuit which actuates the PWM Brake at a second threshold voltage that is relatively lower than the first threshold voltage. In accordance with an important aspect of the invention, the PWM Brake Control Circuit includes a novel speed sensing circuit for providing a signal representative of the speed of the turbine generator The novel speed sensing circuit eliminates the need to mount a speed sensor on the pole top mounted turbine generator. As such, the need for adding cabling from the pole top mounted wind turbine generator is eliminated.
