    Abstract: A high power optical fiber laser combiner includes a plurality of input port fibers; an output port fiber including a cladding and a propagating layer, the cladding being used to clad the propagating layer, and the cladding including a micro-nano structure on a surface thereof for removing a residual power in the cladding; and a bundling portion for bundling the input port fibers, and the input port fibers spliced to the output port fiber. The heat effect accumulation of laser power on the cladding can effectively be reduced by the micro-nano structure of the high power optical fiber laser combiner. The tolerant power and bundling power of the optical fiber laser combiner can be raised to increase the output power of the optical laser.

The lower base is connected with the upper cover and includes a light-receiving portion which corresponds to the light-reflecting portion in position and surrounds the optical fiber, thereby receives the light from the light-reflecting portion. The isolating members are disposed between the upper cover and the lower base and located on two sides of the optical housing to prevent the leakage of light from the optical fiber.

The parallel bit-interleaving may include, in each of a plurality of cycles, reading a number of bits from an input bitstream; processing the read bits, with the processing including applying a first adjustment to a first combination of bits that includes the read bits and additional bits, wherein each of the additional bits includes a previously read bit in the input bitstream or a pre-set bit; when one or more conditional criteria are met, applying a second adjustment to a second combination of bits that includes bits corresponding to previously read bits, wherein the conditional criteria include completing processing of a full column; writing into memory a number of bits corresponding to the first combination of bits and/or the second combination of bits; and reading from the memory a number of bits, for generating an output corresponding to the particular cycle.

    Abstract: A high-power fiber cladding power stripper comprises a core unit, a cladding layer, a grating structure, and a jacket. The core unit is an optical conductive material. The cladding layer is disposed outside the core unit, wherein a refractive index of the cladding layer is lower than that of the core unit. The grating structure, disposed outside the cladding layer, is for producing diffraction effects. The jacket surrounds and protects the core unit, the cladding layer, and the grating structure. Hence, in a high-power fiber laser system, the cladding power stripper can be utilized for removing residual pump energy before the laser light entering an output collimator.
