Publication number: 20250147004Abstract: Disclosed are methods, materials and devices for approximation of blood volume in a fluid. A blood indicator panel (BIP) device is provided for rapid blood volume measurement (in mls.) in a fluid (e.g., a collected surgical fluid). An RBC flocculant (e.g., polyDADMAC) may be used to induce more rapid sedimentation of red blood cells from the fluid. A series of markings is provided on one side of the BIP, each marking corresponding to a volume of blood (in milliliters). The markings are calculated by use of a formula: Vb=Vm/(Hct×1.2), wherein Hct is an average blood hematocrit, and 1.2 is an RBC packing ratio value for a conventional 1,200 ml waste collection canister (1.2 alternatively referenced as “?”). The BIP does not employ centrifugation, electronic image transmission or analysis, is temperature independent, and is accurate to about +/?10%.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 6, 2025Publication date: May 8, 2025Inventors: Christopher A. Publication number: 20250049329Abstract: Disclosed are methods, materials and devices for approximating blood volume in a fluid obtained from a subject, such as blood in a biological fluid collected during a surgical procedure. In particular applications, methods of estimating blood volume in a sample as part of a method for estimating blood loss from a subject are provided. The methods provide for a much accelerated technique for determining blood volume and/or packed red blood cell units in a sample (within about 5-10 minutes). The method and devices (canisters) may include a red blood cell (RBC) flocculant, such as polyDADMAC, and employ a formula that includes a value for an approximate blood hematocrit, and an approximate red blood cell packing ratio (“?”) for a collection container.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 30, 2024Publication date: February 13, 2025Inventors: Christopher A. Publication number: 20240386032Abstract: New data class generation is provided. A dimension score is generated for each respective dimension of a plurality of predefined dimensions as relating to column attributes of a data asset while performing a static reference data analysis of the data asset. The dimension score of each respective dimension is added together to obtain a total dimension score for the data asset. It is determined whether the total dimension score of the data asset is greater than a predefined minimum dimension score threshold level. The data asset is identified as new static reference data in response to determining that the total dimension score of the data asset is greater than the predefined minimum dimension score threshold level. A new data class is generated based on the new static reference data.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 15, 2023Publication date: November 21, 2024Inventors: Chun Hua Sun, Xu Bin Cai, Chun Leng, Wei Wang, Yi Yang Ren, Jian Ling Shi, Pin Lv, Xin Yu Wang, Yi Wang, Tao Zhuang

Publication number: 20240320234Abstract: An approach is disclosed that receives a new ETL job. The job includes a number of intermediate database files descriptors corresponding to a plurality of intermediate database files that are used to accomplish the new ETL. A new data lineage graph is created that pertains to the new ETL job. The new data lineage graph is compared to a number of existing data lineage graphs with each of the existing data lineage graphs corresponding to an existing ETL job. The approach substitutes existing database files found in the existing data lineage graphs for one or more intermediate database files found in the new data lineage graph. The new ETL job is then run by utilizing the substituted database files, the result being a new final database file.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 24, 2023Publication date: September 26, 2024Inventors: Yi Yang Ren, Chun Hua Sun, Xu Bin Cai, Wei Wang, Jian Ling Shi, Chun Leng, Pin Lv
