  • Patent number: 11145987
Abstract: Provided in the present invention is an ultralight artificial medium multilayer cylindrical lens, comprising n concentric layers of different dielectric constants. The center cylindrical layer is expressed as layer 1 and is a solid cylinder. Layers 2 to n are in a sequentially outward nested arrangement surrounding the center cylindrical layer and respectively are n-1 concentric rings. The n concentric layers are assembled into a multilayer cylinder and are characterized in that the dielectric constants of the n concentric layers gradually decrease from layer 1 to layer n and vary specifically between 2.05 to 1.05. The n concentric layers are made of a base material of low dielectric constant added with a material of high dielectric constant and low specific gravity. The lens so manufactured has a total apparent density of 0.08-0.095 g/cm3.

  • Publication number: 20170021533
Abstract: A mold for casting concrete contains: an inner part, an outer par, a temperature insulation layer, a fixing plate, and a pulling member. The inner part includes a cavity, an inlet, and an outlet which communicate with one another to flow first fluid into the cavity from the inlet and to discharge the first fluid out of the outlet from the cavity. The inner part further includes an outer fence and an inner fence on which the temperature insulation layer is arranged. The outer part is located outside the outer fence, between the outer part and the outer fence is defined a feeding chamber. The outer part includes a heating element and second fluid both defined therein, and the heating element is immersed in the second fluid. The fixing plate is mounted on the outer part and the inner part. The pulling member is fixed on the inner part.

  • Patent number: 8072711
Abstract: A chemical or corrosive environment sensing system, comprising a giant magnetoresistive effect device having at least one environmentally exposed film, and a device, for sensing changes in the GMR effect device resulting from environmental exposure of the at least one environmentally exposed film. The film may be reversibly or irreversibly altered by the exposure, and is preferably nano-textured to alter a reaction rate and surface area. The sensor may be enzyme linked, that is, respond to an enzyme reaction product rather than the substrate directly. The GMR property altered and/or sensed may be, for example, a lower or upper switching field, an electrical resistance, and the GMR value. The device may be used as a sensor or as part of a control system.

  • Patent number: 6599401
Abstract: Uniaxial magnetic anisotropy was found in the Fe/Co/Cu/Co magnetoresistive structures deposited on Si (100) substrates. Samples magnetized along an easy anisotropy axis showed extremely sharp magnetization and magnetoresistance switching at low fields and maximum giant magnetoresistance of 9.5% at 5K (5.5% at room temperature) for the samples with 5 nm of Fe,5 nm of Co, 2.5 nm of Cu and 2 nm of Co. These results were advantageous compared to Co/Cu/Co trilayers grown on Cr/Cu buffer which did not exhibit uniaxial anisotropy. Deposition on spinning wafers allowed excluding substrate related anisotropy. An existing magnetic field in the magnetron sputtering system with the strength of 32 Oe at the sample location was found the most probable source of the induced uniaxial anisotropy.
