Abstract: The present invention provides a water purification and treatment apparatus using a combination of sedimentation, filtration, and bio-contact aeration processes, which comprises at least one rapid water purification filter having a hopper base for settled sludge and a filtering tank; at least one cylindrical settling basin for sedimentation and filtration; and at least one aeration basin having an under water and an over water bio-film contact parts, for rapidly filtering raw water or wastewater contacted with bio-contact aeration, and performing water purification and treatment.

Abstract: An apparatus for reinforcing a concrete construction includes a main frame body embedded in the concrete construction, and a plurality of reinforcing units. The main frame body is formed as a plate and has opposite first and second surfaces. Each reinforcing unit includes at least one of a first arched strip portion mounted fixedly on the first surface of the main frame body and a second arched strip portion mounted fixedly on the second surface of the main frame body. Each of the first and second arched strip portions has two ends connected to the respective one of the first and second surfaces of the main frame body, and an arched bent portion. The arched bent portion of one of the first and second arched strip portions of each of the reinforcing units is adapted to be disposed adjacent to an outer surface of the concrete construction.

The reinforcing unit includes an intermediate plate disposed between the outer and inner walls, and a plurality of reinforcing members, each of which has a first U-shaped strip portion mounted fixedly between the inner wall and the intermediate plate, and a second U-shaped strip portion mounted fixedly between the outer wall and the intermediate plate. Each first U-shaped strip portion has two ends connected fixedly to the intermediate plate, and a bent portion connected fixedly to the inner wall. Each second U-shaped strip portion has two ends connected fixedly to the intermediate plate, and a bent portion connected fixedly to the outer wall.

A cushioning unit is mounted fixedly between the base plate and the mounting plate, and includes an intermediate plate disposed between and parallel to the base and mounting plates, and a plurality of cushioning members, each of which has a first U-shaped strip portion mounted fixedly between the base plate and the intermediate plate, and a second U-shaped strip portion mounted fixedly between the mounting plate and the intermediate plate.
