    Abstract: A silicon carbide single crystal wafer and a preparation method therefor, a silicon carbide crystal and a preparation method therefor, and a semiconductor device. The surface of the silicon carbide single crystal wafer is such that an included angle between a normal direction and a c direction is 0-8 degrees, and aggregated dislocations on the silicon carbide single crystal wafer are less than 300/cm2; the aggregated dislocation is a dislocation aggregated condition in which the distance between the geometric centers of any two corrosion pits in the corrosion pits obtained after corrosion of melted KOH is less than 80 microns. Even if the dislocation density is relatively high, the aggregated dislocation density is relatively small, thereby increasing the yield of a silicon carbide-based devices.

    Abstract: The process disclosed includes an extruder under extrusion conditions at a temperature from 50° C. to 250° C., and a polymer composition. The polymer composition includes (A) greater than or equal to 5 wt % of a silane functionalized olefin-based polymer with first melting temperature, Tm1, (B) optionally, a nonsilane functionalized polyolefin, with second melting temperature, Tm2, (C) a highly effective silanol condensation catalyst (HEC), (D) a permeability modifier, and (E) optionally, a scorch inhibitor. The process includes introducing a physical blowing agent into the polymer composition to form a foamable composition. The foamable composition is cooled to a foaming temperature from 10° C. less than to 10° C. greater than Tm1. The foamable composition from an extruder exit die to form a foam composition. The foam composition is moisture cured to form a crosslinked foam composition having a density from 0.010 g/cc to 0.200 g/cc, and a gel content from 5% to 100%.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a multi-parameter calibration system for a spectrometer based on a nanosecond light source, including a main channel for outputting nuclear pulse signals, and a coincidence channel for outputting the nuclear pulse signals. Each channel uses current nuclear pulse signals to drive a light-emitting diode (LED) to emit nuclear pulse optical signals, and a simulated scintillator is irradiated to emit nanosecond nuclear pulse optical signals.     Abstract: Coating compositions having a polymeric binder and a stabilizer composition including at least one of a UV absorber, a hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS), or an inorganic UV blocker are provided herein, wherein said coating compositions are more resistant to discoloration when exposed to UV-C (190-280 nm) light compared to the coating compositions in the absence of the stabilizer composition. Thus, a method of stabilizing a coating composition against the deleterious effects of UV-C (190-280 nm) light includes adding to the coating composition an effective amount of such a stabilizer composition, wherein the coating composition is made more resistant to discoloration when exposed to UV-C (190-280 nm) light compared to the coating composition in the absence of the stabilizer composition. Coated articles can be made from the coating composition, and methods of making stabilized coating films include adding the stabilizer composition to the coating composition.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a photoelectric film and a fabrication method thereof, and in particular, to a layered polycrystalline lead selenide (PbSe) film and a fabrication method thereof. The fabrication method mainly includes: (1) fabricating a dense PbSe layer on a substrate through chemical bath deposition (CBD); (2) fabricating a loose plumbonacrite (Pb10O(OH)6(CO3)6) layer on the dense PbSe layer through CBD; (3) placing a sample with the dense PbSe layer and the Pb10O(OH)6(CO3)6 layer in a selenium ion-containing solution to allow an ion exchange reaction to finally form the layered polycrystalline PbSe film. The fabrication method has the advantages of simple process, low cost, and high controllability.

    Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to processes to produce alpha-olefin oligomers and poly alpha-olefins. In an embodiment, a process to produce a poly alpha-olefin (PAO) includes introducing a first alpha-olefin and a first catalyst system comprising a metallocene compound into a continuous stirred tank reactor or a continuous tubular reactor under first reactor conditions to form a first reactor effluent. The alpha-olefin is introduced to the reactor at a flow rate of about 100 g/hr or more. The first reactor effluent includes PAO dimer comprising at least 96 mol % of vinylidene and 4 mol % or less of trisubstituted vinylene and disubstituted vinylene, based on total moles of vinylidene, trisubstituted vinylene, and disubstituted vinylene. The method includes introducing the first reactor effluent, a second alpha-olefin and a second catalyst composition comprising an acid catalyst into a second reactor under second reactor conditions to form a second reactor effluent comprising PAO trimer.
