  • Patent number: 7880707
Abstract: An exemplary liquid crystal module (20) includes liquid crystal panel (200) and a driving chip (210). The driving chip includes an interface circuit (230), a storing member (260), and a plurality of input ports. The plurality of input ports are configured for receiving display data. The storing member and the interface circuit share at least one common input port of the plurality of input ports. The storing member receives at least one mode selection signal for controlling a working mode of the driving chip via the at least one common input port in a first period of time. The storing member outputs the at least one mode selection signal to the interface circuit, and then the interface circuit receives the display data via the plurality of input ports including the at least one common input port according to the working mode in a second period of time.

  • Publication number: 20080106611
Abstract: An exemplary image signal processing circuit (20) includes an image sensor (22), a drive circuit (28), and a microprocessor (24). The drive circuit includes an image signal processor (25) and a data processor (26). The microprocessor is provided to send control signals to the image sensor, the image signal processor, and the data processor. The image sensor is provided to receive exterior light beams and to convert the light beams into image signals. The image signal processor is provided to turn on the image sensor and convert the image signals received from the image sensor into image signals of a predetermined type and having a predetermined resolution. The data processor is provided to receive the image signals converted by the image signal processor and to process the converted image signals to be applied to a display device such that the display device displays corresponding images.

  • Publication number: 20070139344
Abstract: An exemplary driving circuit of an active matrix liquid crystal display (LCD) (2) having an LCD panel includes a gate driving circuit (22), a data driving circuit (23), a timing control circuit (21), and a detecting circuit (21). The data driving circuit provides a plurality of gradation voltages to the LCD panel. The detecting circuit (28) is configured for detecting a first voltage difference between a pixel electrode and a common electrode in a first frame, detecting a second voltage difference between the pixel electrode and the common electrode in a second frame, generating an adjusting instruction according to a difference between the first voltage difference and the second voltage difference, and providing the adjusting instruction to the timing control circuit. The timing control circuit controls the data driving circuit to change a gradation voltage according to the adjusting instruction before an inverted gradation voltage is provided to LCD panel.
