Publication number: 20250086389Abstract: According to an embodiment, a method for generating textual features corresponding to text documents from a raw dataset is disclosed. The method includes preprocessing the text documents and determining topic probability scores (TPS) and confidence scores (CS) using unsupervised and supervised machine learning models, respectively. The combination of TPS and CS is used to generate a compound distribution score (CDS), which forms a comprehensive representation of the output of the machine learning models. The determined TPS, CS, and CDS are then used to generate a set of textual features, which serve as independent variables for a forecasting model.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 12, 2023Publication date: March 13, 2025Inventors: Gayathri SARANATHAN, Nway Nway AUNG, Ariel BECK, Chandra Suwandi WIJAYA, Jianyu CHEN, Debdeep PAUL, Sahim YAMAURA, Koji MIURA

Patent number: 10101640Abstract: A connection structure connects to an electronic device and a projection component that connects to the electronic device through the connection structure to project a target projection content from the electronic device. The projection component includes a transmission module, an output interface, a direction change mechanism, and a linkage apparatus. The transmission module receives the target projection content. The output interface outputs an initial light ray of the target projection content. The direction change mechanism directs the initial light ray as an output light ray in one of a plurality of output directions. The linkage apparatus is coupled to the connection structure and the direction change mechanism to drive the direction change mechanism to change the output direction of the output light ray from a first output direction to a second output direction in response to a variation in a relative arrangement between the projection component and the electronic device.Type: GrantFiled: March 13, 2017Date of Patent: October 16, 2018Assignee: Lenovo (Beijing) LimitedInventors: Jianyu Chen, Xiaohua Qiu

Patent number: 8325607Abstract: Packets destined for the route processor of a packet switching device are rate controlled. Typically, line cards are configured to rate limit packets of offending packet flows destined for the route processor, such, but not limited to in response to a quantity of packets in the route processor. Filtering of packets of offending packet flows at the line cards reduces the work required of the route processor.Type: GrantFiled: April 17, 2009Date of Patent: December 4, 2012Assignee: Cisco Technology, Inc.Inventors: John H. W. Bettink, David Delano Ward, Jianyu Chen, Paul Mattes, Norbert Brotz

Patent number: 8204967Abstract: A method is disclosed for dynamically creating encapsulation and decapsulation chains and segmenting the packet-forwarding plane. A distributed router may comprise multiple cards, each exposing a subset of the router's physical interfaces. Some physical interfaces may be configured to send/receive only certain types and destinations of data packets. Some cards might not expose any physical interfaces configured to send/receive a particular type and destination of packet, making encapsulation and/or decapsulation chains for virtual interfaces that process data packets of the particular type useless on those cards. Therefore, instead of always creating both encapsulation and decapsulation chains for a virtual interface on a card, an aspect of the method dynamically determines which of the encapsulation and decapsulation chains are useful for a virtual interface on that card, and creates only those chains that are useful on that card.Type: GrantFiled: April 14, 2004Date of Patent: June 19, 2012Assignee: Cisco Technology, Inc.Inventors: Rajiv Goel, Jianyu Chen, Scott Molloy, Chung T. Patent number: 8151365Abstract: In one embodiment, a code server and edit server are provided. The code server stores the source code. Users do not access the code server directly. Rather, an edit server is used where users can log in to the edit server and send requests to edit portions of the source code. The edit server then sends requests to the code server for requested portions of the source code. Different users may have different access-rights to portions of the code. When the request is received from the edit server, if the code server determines the user requesting the portion of the source code does not have access rights to it, then the code server does not allow the portion of code to be accessed. However, if the user does have access rights, then the portion of the source code is retrieved and sent to the edit server. The user can then edit the source code on the edit server.Type: GrantFiled: December 13, 2006Date of Patent: April 3, 2012Assignee: Cisco Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Jianyu Chen, Jan Gronski, Jian Yang, Xiaoqing Lu, Yang Song

Patent number: 7522521Abstract: Disclosed are, inter alia, methods, apparatus, data structures, computer-readable media, and mechanisms, for a route processor adjusting admission control policies for packets destined for the route processor and enforced on line cards. Individual line cards can identify offending packet flows that pass through them. However, for example, it is possible that an attack on the route processor might comprise packets being forwarded to the route processor from different line cards, with these packets belonging to a same or different packet flow. By monitoring and identifying offending packet flows, the route processor can inform at least the line cards corresponding to these offending packet flows in order to adjust their corresponding admission control policies to combat such an attack, while typically allowing legitimate traffic to continue to flow at the desired rate to the route processor.Type: GrantFiled: July 12, 2005Date of Patent: April 21, 2009Assignee: Cisco Technology, Inc.Inventors: John H.
