    Abstract: A method includes: A first node sends a threshold and a first packet to a second node. Correspondingly, the second node receives the threshold and the first packet from the first node. Then, the second node determines first channel state information CSI based on the first packet. If a change amount of the first CSI relative to preset CSI exceeds the threshold, the second node sends a second packet to the first node. If the change amount of the first CSI relative to the preset CSI does not exceed the threshold, the second node does not need to send the second packet to the first node. The method is applied to a radio sensing process.

The transmit end device can determine a proper data rate for sending a wake-up packet based on a specific transmission condition in a communication process, thereby improving transmission efficiency of the wake-up packet.

A quantity of tones per 10-MHz tone distribution corresponding to the second part of fields is 128, and a tone spacing is 78.125 kHz. The corresponding method is applicable to 10 MHz, 20 MHz, 40 MHz, 60 MHz, so that a transmission bandwidth is increased compared with that of 802.11p, as well as a system throughput. The transmit end may transmit data by some RUs to increase a data transmission distance, or may simultaneously transmit data of different services by a plurality of RUs to improve data transmission efficiency.
