  • Publication number: 20190280621
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses and methods for harvesting ambient energy involve an electrically conductive charge-carrying movable electrode. An apparatus includes an electrically conductive charge-carrying electrode, a first dielectric interface region, a second dielectric interface region, and at least one reference electrode. The first and second dielectric interface regions differ in surface charge density. In certain aspects, the movable electrode moves proximate and relative to the first and second dielectric interface regions in response to receipt of ambient energy, thereby providing first and second capacitances. The first capacitance differs from the second capacitance, and/or the first surface charge density differs from the second surface charge density. Movement of the movable electrode in combination with the differing capacitances and/or charge densities results in energy accumulation, thereby enabling ambient energy to be harvested efficiently and effectively.

  • Publication number: 20190261272
Abstract: This application relates to the wireless communications field and provides a frame transmission method, device, and system. The method includes: sending, by a second device, n wake-up frames to a first device, where the n wake-up frames each carry segmented content of wake-up signaling, so that a wake-up receiver of the first device wakes up a main transceiver of the first device based on the n wake-up frames, and after being woken up, the main transceiver sends, to the second device, a response frame used to indicate whether the n wake-up frames are correctly received. In this application, content of the wake-up signaling is segmented. In this case, lengths of the n wake-up frames are all relatively short, so that the wake-up receiver is easier to correctly receive each wake-up frame.

  • Patent number: 10390355
Abstract: An access point generates a beacon frame that carries a trigger frame information element comprising sending information of a trigger frame for indicating a sending period of the trigger frame; and sends the beacon frame. In this case, the station switches to an active state, and receives the trigger frame by listening to the channel, and the station performs uplink transmission according to indication of the trigger frame after receiving the trigger frame. In this way, when signaling overheads are not increased and reliability is ensured, a station can learn of a sending time of a trigger frame, and the station remains in a receiving state in an appropriate period of time.

  • Publication number: 20190245669
Abstract: An access device constructs a beacon frame, where the beacon frame includes a newly added field, and the newly added field represents multiple data guard interval lengths supported by the access device. The access device broadcasts the beacon frame, so that a terminal selects an available guard interval length matching a data guard interval length supported by the terminal from the beacon frame, and performs data communication with the access device by using the available guard interval length. Data communication between the access device and the terminal can be implemented when the access device supports multiple data guard interval lengths.

  • Patent number: 10374902
Abstract: A Kernel-power-density based method for wireless channel multipath components (MPCs) clustering. Signals get to the receiver from a transmitter via multipath propagation. MIMO channels can be modeled as double-directional, which contains the information of power, delay, direction of departure (DOD) and direction of arrival (DOA) of MPCs. The MPCs tend to appear in clusters. All the parameters of MPCs can be estimated by using high-resolution algorithms, such as MUSIC, CLEAN, SAGE, and RiMAX. Considering a data snapshot for a certain time with several clusters, which include a number of MPCs, where each MPC is represented by its power, delay, DOD and DOA. This invention adopts a novel clustering framework by using a density based method, which can better identify the local density variations of MPCs and requires no prior knowledge about clusters. It can work for the cluster oriented channel processing technology in future wireless communication field.
