  • Publication number: 20200052532
Abstract: A magnetic core for an electric motor has a ring-shaped yoke, teeth extending outwardly from the yoke, and a tooth tip extending from a distal end of each tooth. The core is formed from curved or coils strip laminations having teeth arranged in tooth groups. Each group has four tooth types arranged sequentially. Each tooth has left and right half tooth tips. The length of the half tooth tips vary according to tooth type. When assembled, first type tooth overlap with third type teeth and second type teeth overlap with fourth type teeth, whereby the opening of the winding slot is narrowed compared to laminations having all identical teeth.

  • Patent number: 10560679
Abstract: Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for detecting deformation of a structured light depth imaging system and automatic re-calibration for the depth imaging system. In one embodiment, a depth imaging device includes a light projector, a camera and a processor. The light projector emits light corresponding to a projected pattern image having a plurality of features with known locations in the projected pattern image. The camera captures the light reflected by an environment of the depth imaging device and generates a reflected pattern image as a two-dimensional (2D) projection of the environment. The reflected pattern image includes a plurality of features that correspond to the features of the projected pattern image. The processor detects a misalignment for a distance or an orientation between the light projector and the camera based on a relationship between the features in the projected pattern image and the features in the reflected pattern image.

  • Patent number: 10504200
Abstract: Methods, devices and computer program products are described that improve acquisition of metadata that is associates with a multimedia content, such an audio or video content. In one exemplary method, the multimedia content is received at a first device that is equipped with a watermark detector and watermark extraction operations are conducted to detect a plurality of watermark messages. Each watermark message includes a server code and an interval code. In this method, a server Internet Protocol (IP) address is obtained that corresponds to a server that stores at least a portion of the metadata associated with the multimedia content. The IP address corresponds to at least one of the server codes detected from the plurality of watermark messages. According to the above method, the metadata is requested from the server having the server IP address, and a response including the metadata associated with the multimedia content is received.

  • Patent number: 10499120
Abstract: Methods and devices are provided to facilitate acquisition of information associated with a multimedia content through embedded watermarks. One such method includes obtaining a server code for embedding into a content. The server code identifies a particular domain name registered to a registrant entity and provides a mapping to an Internet address of a metadata server. Upon receiving an indication that a trigger event is associated with a particular segment of the content, a first watermark payload is formed and embedded in the content. The watermark payload includes the server code, an interval code and a first trigger value. The interval code identifies the particular content segment and the first trigger value indicates that additional information associated with the particular segment is. Detection of the first trigger value from a subsequently distributed content enables a query to the metadata server for acquisition of metadata.

  • Patent number: 10497137
Abstract: Disclosed are an apparatus and a method of compensating temperature shifts of a structured light pattern for a depth imaging system. In some embodiments, a depth imaging device includes a light source, an imaging sensor and a processor. The light source emits light corresponding to a pattern. A temperature drift of the light source can cause a shift of the pattern. The imaging sensor receives the light reflected by environment in front of the depth imaging device and generates a depth map including a plurality of pixel values corresponding to depths of the environment relative to the depth imaging device. The processor estimates the shift of the pattern based on a polynomial model depending on the temperature drift of the light source. The processor further adjusts the depth map based on the shift of the pattern.
