Publication number: 20260125723Abstract: Provided is a non-coding small RNA (sRNA) from Corynebacterium glutamicum and use thereof. An RNA sequence of the non-coding sRNA has at least 90% or more sequence identity to a transcription product of a DNA sequence shown in SEQ ID NO. 1. Experimental results demonstrate that overexpression of the non-coding sRNA in the recombinant bacterium can significantly increase yields of the branched-chain amino acids such as L-leucine, L-isoleucine, and L-valine and the sugar-to-acid conversion rate, while reducing generation of the byproduct acids. Regarding raw materials, relatively low-cost molasses is selected as a carbon and nitrogen source, corn steep liquor with a high impurity content is discarded, and molasses is converted via enzymatic hydrolysis into a nutrient containing more carbon and nitrogen sources utilizable by strains.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 7, 2025Publication date: May 7, 2026Applicants: INNOBIO CORPORATION LIMITED, INNOBIO (HEI LONG JIANG) LIMITEDInventors: Chao FAN, Jun LIU, Jiakun QI, Yongde HONG, Zhaoning CAI, Hao HONG, Jianbin CHEN, Wenzhong WU

Publication number: 20260092295Abstract: An engineered strain for improving tryptophan production and a construction method and use thereof are provided. By screening out a strain capable of tolerating high-concentration tryptophan and performing genomic sequencing and protein sequence analysis on the strain, it is found that certain proteins in the strain undergo point mutations and these mutations are capable of enhancing tryptophan production. To increase tryptophan production, protein sequences encoded by fadR or pepD genes in a parent strain are modified. These modifications result in an engineered strain with significantly higher tryptophan production compared to the parent strain. Under scaled-up production conditions, the tryptophan production reaches 62.38±5.80 g/L in a 5 L fermenter, with a glucose-to-tryptophan yield of 24.1%. Compared to an original strain, tryptophan production increases by 1.48-fold, and the glucose-to-tryptophan yield improves by 1.26-fold.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 31, 2025Publication date: April 2, 2026Applicants: INNOBIO CORPORATION LIMITED, INNOBIO (HEI LONG JIANG) LIMITEDInventors: Chao FAN, Hao HONG, Jiakun QI, Jun LIU, Jianbin CHEN, Wenzhong WU

Patent number: 10525008Abstract: The invention relates to a microencapsulated amino acid composition and methods of manufacturing this composition. Amino acids, such as branched-chain amino acids, have low water solubility, poor hydrophilicity, and poor stability. Amino acids are thus difficult to be digested and absorbed. Consequently amino acids can hardly meet human needs of consuming. This microencapsulated amino acid composition that can quickly disperse and dissolve in cold water, resulting clear solution. The method includes (1) adding coating agents, wetting agents, or other excipients to the amino acid mixture, (2) modifying the surface of microencapsulated particles to considerably accelerate the wetting speed. In this composition, the weight ratio of amino acids and excipients is from 100/0.1 to 100/10.0.Type: GrantFiled: October 11, 2013Date of Patent: January 7, 2020Assignee: INNOBIO CORPORATION LIMITEDInventors: Wenzhong Wu, Jianbin Chen, Yuemei Zhang
