    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method and an apparatus for optimizing 3D map display, which relate to the field of map data processing technologies, and mainly aim at solving the problem that the existing 3D map has a poor display effect. The method includes: acquiring map data of a working region; analyzing the map data to acquire a first region set and a second region set, where the first region set contains one or more passable regions for a robot, and the second region set contains one or more impassable regions for the robot; determining a display height corresponding to each region in the second region set respectively by using a preset height algorithm; and displaying the working region in a 3D map according to the display height. The present disclosure is mainly used for 3D map display.
