The cartridge holder is adapted to receive interchangeable cartridges depending on the type and size of beverage desired. The beverage system is capable of using a beverage pod to dispense an individual cup of coffee or the like, and it is also capable of brewing larger volumes of coffee using freshly ground coffee beans.

    Abstract: A method of assessing the quality of an retinal image (such as a fundus image) includes selecting at least one region of interest within a retinal image corresponding to a particular structure of the eye (e.g. the optic disc or the macula), and a quality score is calculated in respect of the, or each, region-of-interest. Each region of interest is typically one associated with pathology, as the optic disc and the macula are. Optionally, a quality score may be calculated also in respect of the eye as a whole (i.e. over the entire image, if the entire image corresponds to the retina).

The chip comprises SPI FLASH and RPMC which are packaged integrally; the SPI FLASH and the RPMC comprise an independent controller, respectively; the same IO pins in SPI FLASH and RPMC are mutually connected and are connected to the same external sharing pin of the chip. The SPI FLASH and the RPMC further comprise an internal IO pin, respectively, in which the internal IO pin of SPI FLASH is connected with the internal IO pin of RPMC, and the internal mutual communication between the SPI FLASH and the RPMC is achieved through the mutually connected internal IO pins. Thus, it is possible to reduce the package size, decrease the cost of design, shorten design period and improve chip performance.

A fuel coal is pyrolyzed in the fluidized bed pyrolysis furnace at a temperature to volatize alkali chlorides into a pyrolysis gas, thereby reducing the content of the alkali chlorides contained in the coal in the fluidized bed combustion furnace and relieving the contamination to a convective heat-absorbing surface.

    Abstract: A method is proposed for automatically locating the optic disc or the optic cup in an image of the rear of an eye. A portion of the image containing the optic disc or optic cup is divided into sub-regions using a clustering algorithm. Biologically inspired features, and optionally other features, are obtained for each of the sub-regions. An adaptive model uses the features to generate data indicative of whether each sub-region is within or outside the optic disc or optic cup. The result is then smoothed, to form an estimate of the position of the optic disc or optic cup.
