Abstract: An ultrasound imaging system is provided. The ultrasound imaging system includes an ultrasound transducer configured to acquire ultrasound imaging information including an ultrasound data sample. The ultrasound imaging system includes a processing circuit configured to receive the ultrasound imaging information and applying a combining function to the ultrasound imaging information based on a characteristic of the ultrasound imaging information, in order to combine the ultrasound imaging information into at least one spectral Doppler line. The combining function improves an image quality of an image displayed based on the at least one spectral Doppler line.
