    Abstract: Disclosed is an icon generation method, comprising: adjusting an original icon to a preset size for a certain resolution environment; determining statistics for the color values of all pixels of the original icon and calculating a dominant hue of the original icon; generating a background color based on a hue angle of the dominant hue and preset values of color saturation and brightness; applying the background color to a preset color gradient template to generate an icon background; cutting the adjusted icon by using a preset icon edge cutting template; and combining the icon background, the cut icon, and a preset icon foreground template to generate a final icon. Through the disclosed solution, new icons complying with a unified system style can be generated, and content consistency of the new icons can be best ensured.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a method for rearranging web pages. A mobile phone browser receives a web address and determines if a web page corresponding to the web address matches selection rules. If no, the mobile phone browser loads the web page and displays the content. If yes, the mobile phone browser retrieves HTML source code of the web page. Based on a content extraction rule, the mobile phone browser extracts elements containing actual content from the HTML source code of the web page, and extracts actual content from these elements. Next, the mobile phone browser inserts the actual content into a predefined web page template to generate a new web page. The mobile phone browser loads the new web page and displays the content of the new web page. The method adapts to screen resolutions of mobile devices, preserves information and interaction of original web pages to the greatest extent, improves the speed for loading web page, and saves network bandwidth.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a method for re-skinning a third party's application. A third-party application establishes a resource file package. The resource file package includes a resource file storage path and a mapping relation between them. A subject file package is established which shares the resource file storage path. The subject file package includes resource files for presentation to be replaced. To generate a re-skinning presentation the third-party application sends the resource ID for a resource file to be presented to an operating system; the operating system obtains a corresponding resource file storage path from the resource file package according to the resource file ID; and the operating system obtains the resource file to be replaced for presentation from the subject file packet according to the resource file storage path. The resource file to be replaced for presentation is sent to the third-party application and presented to generate the re-skinning presentation.
