    Abstract: A communication device includes a first carrier and a second carrier. In a radio frequency channel management process, the communication device obtains a downlink sub-frame, and determines a target sub-frame in the downlink sub-frame, where both the first carrier and the second carrier allow shutting down a target radio frequency channel of the communication device in a time period corresponding to the target sub-frame. The communication device shuts down the target radio frequency channel in the time period corresponding to the target sub-frame. In this way, an energy-saving effect of the communication device is achieved by performing shutdown control on a radio frequency channel in a time period corresponding to a sub-frame granularity without affecting data communication between the communication device and another device based on each carrier.

The method implemented by an access network device includes: obtaining a first quantity of repetitions M and a first MCS order that are of a scheduling resource of a first terminal, and a second quantity of repetitions N and a second MCS order that are of a scheduling resource of a second terminal; calculating overlapping areas of first and second total scheduling resources based on the first and second quantities of repetitions and the first and second MCS orders, respectively; determining a maximum overlapping area of the first total scheduling resource based on the calculated overlapping areas; and allocating to the second terminal, N consecutive scheduling resources overlapping with the first total scheduling resource, wherein an overlapping area is less than or equal to the maximum overlapping area.

    Abstract: Example data transmission methods and data transmission apparatus are provided. One example method includes receiving a precoding matrix index (PMI) by a first access network device from a terminal device. The first access network device determines a weighted precoding matrix based on the PMI and a preset matrix. Downlink data of the terminal device is precoded by the first access network device based on the weighted precoding matrix to obtain the precoded downlink data. The weighted precoding matrix is a 4×2 matrix, and values of the last two elements in a first column and the first two elements in a second column of the weighted precoding matrix are all zeros. The precoded downlink data is sent by the first access network device to the terminal device.
