  • Patent number: 12275649
Abstract: A lithium manganese iron phosphate substrate, cathode material, and their preparation method, as well as a lithium battery, belonging to the field of lithium-ion battery technology. The preparation of the lithium manganese iron phosphate substrate comprises the following steps: dissolving soluble ferrous salt, soluble manganese salt, phosphoric acid, and lithium hydroxide in deionized water to react, obtaining Material A; filtering Material A, taking the filter cake and drying it to obtain Material B; Heat treating Material B in an inert gas atmosphere to obtain the lithium manganese iron phosphate substrate. By coating the surface of the carbon-free nano lithium manganese iron phosphate substrate with metal oxides or metal salts and carbon, the coating layer formed on the surface of the composite lithium manganese iron phosphate material effectively prevents the reaction between the lithium battery and the electrolyte.

  • Publication number: 20240149264
Abstract: This disclosure provides an apparatus, including a first plate having a first transport surface and a second plate having a second transport surface. The second plate is positioned at an acute angle with respect to the first plate such that a first transport surface of the first plate faces the second transport surface of the second plate. The first transport surface and the second transport surface are hydrophobic. The apparatus also includes one or more liquid droplets positioned between and in contact with the first transport surface and the second transport surface. During evaporation, the liquid droplet will automatically move towards the cusp of the first plate and the second plate.

  • Publication number: 20120216863
Abstract: Solar energy concentrator architectures employ an array of electro-optical liquid prism modules to deflect sunlight onto PV cells. Without any mechanical moving parts, the dynamic liquid prism allows the concentrator to adaptively track the daily changes of the sun's orbit. The liquid prism modules may be arranged, for example, into a sheet-shaped beam steering array; a condenser device such as a Fresnel lens is then used to focus the light deflected by the modules onto one or more PV cells—preferably CPVs. Another possible concentrator architecture requires arranging a plurality of liquid prism modules into a semi-spherical pattern, such that light impinging on the modules is directed onto one or more PV cells or CPVs.
