  • Publication number: 20200147242
Abstract: A magnetic, thermosensitive, fluorescent micelle includes a core, a carrier wrapping the core, and a plurality of water-soluble near-infrared CdHgTe quantum dots (QD) disposed on the carrier. The core includes dextran-magnetic layered double hydroxide-fluorouracil (DMF). The carrier includes a tripolymer of poly(N-isopropylacrylamide-co-N,N-dimethylacrylamide)-b-polylactic acid (PLA). N-isopropylacrylamide-co-N,N-dimethylacrylamide of the tripolymer includes a hydrophilic group and a hydrophobic carbon frame. The hydrophilic group is oriented outwards with respect to the and forms a shell. The hydrophobic carbon frame and polylactic acid are restrained to wrap the dextran-magnetic layered double hydroxide-fluorouracil to form the core.

  • Patent number: 9551078
Abstract: An electrolytic cell for producing primary aluminum by using inert anodes is disclosed, in which an electrolyte system KF—NaF—AlF3 is used and the operating temperature of the cell is 700-850° C. The electrolytic cell comprises a cell shell, heat insulating refractory lining, a melting pot, a heat insulating cover, inert electrodes, electrode stems, anode bus-bars, cathode bus-bars, anode branching bus-bars, heat insulating plates, partitions between anodes and cathodes and a feeding device. The quality of the aluminum product obtained by using the electrolytic cell is not less than 99.7%. The cell is free from emission of carbon dioxide and perfluorinated compounds (PFCs), and hardly has consumption of electrodes, so the distances between anodes and cathodes can be kept stable. The cell is sealed and the volatilization of dust and fluorides can be prevented, and it is useful to recover oxygen gas.

  • Publication number: 20050092619
Abstract: A new method for the electrolytic production of aluminum, using a new electrolyte composition and low temperature operation, is provided. The electrolyte comprises a mixture of aluminum fluoride-potassium fluoride with from about 2 wt. % to 6 wt. % of alumina. The new electrolyte allows for the electrolytical reduction of alumina at temperatures as low as 700° C. The lower temperature allows for the use of inert anodes, and is conducive to the use of wetted cathodes. The new electrolyte mixture has a higher solubility for alumina and remains entirely liquid, even with 5 wt. % of alumina present in the electrolyte during electrolysis. Oxygen (O2) is the only gas generated during alumina electrolysis with the new electrolyte and the inert anodes, thus eliminating the production of greenhouse gases. Anodes and cathodes can be mounted in either a vertical, horizontal, or some other configuration.
