  • Publication number: 20240213777
Abstract: A device for loop closing and breaking of a power distribution grid based on decoupled voltage regulation is provided. The device comprises a voltage-regulation phase shifter, a control system, a voltage acquisition device and a loop closing switch. The voltage acquisition device acquires voltage signals on two sides of the loop closing switch performing a loop closing or breaking operation and transmits the voltage signals to the control system. The control system calculates a compensating voltage amplitude and phase-angle according to the voltage signals, and sends an instruction to the voltage-regulation phase shifter according to the compensating voltage amplitude and phase-angle. The voltage-regulation phase shifter outputs the compensating voltage amplitude and phase-angle according to the instruction from the control system, to compensate for a voltage difference between the two sides of the loop closing switch.

  • Publication number: 20240112075
Abstract: Systems and methods for predicting differentiating features from tabular data for two different populations. In some aspects, the systems and methods provide for receiving first data entries and second data entries and generating a first graph based on a data entry from the first data entries and a second graph based on a data entry from the second data entries. A first node in the first graph is determined to correspond to a second node in the second graph. A first set of graph embeddings is generated based on the first graph. A second set of graph embeddings is generated based on the second graph. Using a machine learning model, the first set of graph embeddings and the second set of graph embeddings are processed to identify at least one feature indicative of a difference between the first data entries and the second data entries.

  • Publication number: 20240111989
Abstract: Systems and methods for predicting change points in tabular data. In some aspects, the systems and methods provide for generating time-stamped graphs based on data entries and corresponding time stamps. Each graph of the time-stamped graphs corresponds to a data entry and is representative of one or more events associated with a time stamp corresponding to the data entry. The graph is independent of any events before or after the time stamp. For each graph of the time-stamped graphs, a set of graph embeddings is generated based on the graph and processed using a machine learning model to predict an occurrence of a change point in the data entries.

  • Publication number: 20240054356
Abstract: In some aspects, a computing system may create different node embeddings (e.g., different instances of the same graph) and aggregate the node embeddings to form “multipurpose” node embeddings. As an example, the different node embeddings may include node embeddings generated using unsupervised machine learning and node embeddings generated using supervised machine learning. In this way, for example, a variety of machine learning models may use the aggregated node embeddings without the need for each machine learning model to generate separate node embeddings each time a machine learning task is performed. A machine learning model may use all or a portion of the features in the aggregated node embeddings as appropriate for the task the model is performing.

  • Patent number: 11179050
Abstract: Most automatic cuff blood pressure (BP) measurement devices are based on oscillometry. These devices estimate BP from the envelopes of the cuff pressure oscillations using fixed ratios. The values of the fixed ratios represent population averages, so the devices may be accurate only in subjects with normal BP levels. A patient-specific oscillometric BP measurement method was developed. The idea was to represent the cuff pressure oscillation envelopes with a physiologic model and then estimate the patient-specific parameters of the model, which includes BP levels, by optimally fitting it to the envelopes.

  • Patent number: 10153640
Abstract: The present invention discloses a novel Unified Power Flow Controller UPFC and its control method. Supposing that one end of DC converter is connected to the DC transmission line of HVDC converter station or substation and the other end is connected to the DC side of a series converter, the AC output voltage of the series converter can be controlled to regulate the line power of the UPFC for operation in UPFC and SSSC mode. In addition, when the number of transformers and shunt converters is decreased at the shunt side of the UPFC, the HVDC Converter Station can be used to provide active power for the series converter of UPFC, which can effectively reduce operation costs and ensure stable operation of power grid. Therefore, there is a bright application prospect for the invention.

  • Patent number: 10151018
Abstract: A method for selectively extracting sedimentogenic strontium and barium from terrigenous elastic sediments to reflect the difference between marine and continental sedimentary environments is disclosed. The method comprises collecting loose sediment, removing visible biogenic clasts, baking the sample and crushing the sample to a grain size no larger than 100-mesh. The method further comprises weighing the sample, reacting the sample in acetic acid or acetic acid-acetate solution, stirring or oscillating the sample at room temperature and normal pressure, separating the solid and liquid after reaction and analyzing strontium and barium in the supernatant. The gained Sr/Ba ratio of the supernatant reflects whether the sediments were deposited in a marine or a continental sedimentary environment.
