The method for testing an electronic map includes that N search words input by a user is acquired through the electronic map, where N is a natural number greater than or equal to 1; a correspondence between the N search words and policy scenarios is determined; a user scenario corresponding to each search word and a policy scenario corresponding to each search word are obtained based on a predetermined correspondence between the N search words and a user scenario and the correspondence between the N search words and the policy scenario; and the electronic map is tested based on a user scenario corresponding to each search word and the policy scenario corresponding to each search word.

    Abstract: A centralized polling system is set forth for providing constant time select call functionality to a plurality of polling tasks in an operating system kernel. In one aspect, the CPS registers for and thereby captures events of interest on a continual basis. Polling tasks are supplied with active events thereby eliminating the need to repetitively poll large numbers of inactive sockets. An exemplary embodiment of the CPS includes a system interface to the operating system kernel, a data structure for maintaining a profile for each of the polling tasks, and an application programming interface for registering the polling tasks, receiving the active sockets and corresponding read/write event types via the system interface, updating the profile within the data structure for each of the polling tasks, and returning the current read and write ready sockets to respective ones of the polling tasks.

Heartbeat packets are sent from the computing devices to the router on a periodic basis. If the router fails to receive a heartbeat packet from a particular computing device, a communication path from the router to the computing device is determined based on the three identification values.

The identification values for each computing device are stored in a router connected to the communications network. Heartbeat packets are sent from the computing devices to the router on a periodic basis. If the router fails to receive a heartbeat packet from a particular computing device, a communication path from the router to the computing device is determined based on the three identification values.
