    Abstract: The present disclosure provides an apparatus and method for producing a policosanol having a specific chromatographic fingerprint. The apparatus of the present disclosure has a feed tank and receiving tanks which are connected to a vacuum system. The method of the present disclosure is carried out by a high vacuum rectification process and includes: firstly, feeding a saponified crude alkanol into a melting tank in which the material is melted and then flows into the feed tank, and then injecting the material into a rectifying still using a delivery pump, followed by first rectification under vacuum condition and sequential collection of fractions at different phases from the tower top and stillage residue from the tower bottom; and after the completion of the rectification of the first batch crude product, carrying out second feeding on the basis of consistent vacuum in the feed tank and the rectifying tower.

By adopting the above design, the disclosure enables the liquid water to be atomized by the high-frequency resonance of the atomizing sheet, and then heats the water mist, so that the temperature of the water mist is controlled at 45-60 degrees, which is safe and effective. The volume of the face steaming instrument is reduced, it is convenient to carry, its power consumption is small, energy saving and environmental protection.

After starting, the electronic control assembly supplies power to the exhaust electric motor, and the exhaust electric motor can inhale a gas in a bowl into the tank. Water in a U-shaped trap water seal is pushed and pressed out by means of the gas pressure. When the toilet discharges sewage, the electronic control assembly automatically cuts a power supply, and the exhaust electric motor stops working, and the U-shaped trap water loses the pressure to block gas return.

According to the method of the present invention, the reformate separated from a reformate products separating tank can directly undergo liquid phase hydrotreatment; therefore not only can the hydrogen dissolved in the reformate be fully utilized, but the olefins in the reformate can also be removed, while eliminate the requirements for recycle hydrogen and a recycle device thereof. The reformate obtained by the method of the present invention reduces the bromine index to below 50 mgBr2/100 g, and has an arene loss of less than 0.5 wt %.
