Abstract: An art investment estimation system is provided that is updated to include a first sale price and date, and a second sale price and date of a plurality of repeat sale pairs of a plurality of works of art associated with an artist. The system determines one or more investment value variables derived from the first sale price and associated first sale date and the second sale price and associated second sale date for the plurality of repeat sale pairs of the plurality of works of art. The system receives, at a graphical user interface (GUI), input from a user designating weights for the investment value variables for an artist. The system determines, from the designated weights and the investment value variables, an artist investment potential value for the artist and, at the GUI, displays to the user the artist investment potential value.

Abstract: A method of lending an electronic book. The method comprises the following steps: when a user purchases a document in a book shop, providing the purchasing user with an authorized license of the document through a user center server, generating an identification uniquely corresponding to the purchasing user and the document, and allowing the purchasing user to have control over the transfer of a reading authority of the document (S110); allowing the purchasing user to establish a social networking group based on the document according to the identification through a DRM client, allowing users within the social networking group to share reading reflections, and transferring, according to an authority transfer request of a user within the social networking group, the reading authority and a reading time period of the document to the user (S120); and the user reading the document according to the received reading authority and reading time period of the document (S130).
