    Abstract: A power system of a vehicle includes an engine, a first motor and a second motor. A method for controlling motion of the vehicle includes: receiving a cruise speed, a speed fluctuation quantity and a preset traveling mileage of the vehicle, and obtaining an upper speed bound and a lower speed bound of the vehicle based on the cruise speed and the speed fluctuation quantity; adjusting a current speed of the vehicle to the lower speed bound, and controlling the vehicle to enter a first cruise phase of a two-phase cruise mode; and controlling the vehicle to enter a second cruise phase of the two-phase cruise mode when the current speed of the vehicle is greater than or equal to the upper speed bound and a current traveling mileage is less than the preset traveling mileage.

    Abstract: A pressure-preserving conventional triaxial compression loading apparatus of the present invention includes a pressure vessel, an upper piston rod, a lower piston rod, and an annular oil bag assembly. A fidelity specimen is placed in a specimen chamber defined by a lower end surface of the upper piston rod, an upper end surface of the lower piston rod, and an inner wall of the annular oil bag. In the invention, a water-soluble thorium salt and 2,2?:6?,2?-terpyridine-4?-carboxylic acid are subjected to a solvothermal reaction in water and an organic mixed solvent to obtain a metal-organic hybrid lattice material. The crystalline material produces radiation-induced discoloration and photoluminescence change under ultraviolet light, X-ray, ?-ray, ?-ray, and so on. The material is useful for qualitative and quantitative detection and calibration after high-dose irradiation. Compared with the traditional radiation-induced color change indicator labels, the material achieves the visual qualitative and quantitative detection and has strong radiation stability, high reuse rate, wide detection range, and good linear relationship, to solve the problem of traditional materials relying on professional optical equipment to quantify the radiation dose.

    Abstract: Ultra-pure methyl vinyl ether-co-maleic anhydride (PMVE/MA) copolymers and the process to produce such ultra-pure polymers by removing trace impurities are provided. A process to provide an ultra-pure methyl vinyl ether-co-maleic anhydride material by solvent washing PMVE/MA copolymer with a solvent, comprises the steps of: (1) providing a solvent system in which impurities in the copolymer matrix are soluble and in which the PMVE/MA copolymer is not soluble, and wherein the solvent system does not react with the copolymer; (2) washing a dry powder or wet filter cake of PMVE/MA copolymer with the solvent system to efficiently and effectively extract trace impurities from the matrix; (3) filtering said copolymer from the solvent system; and (4) drying the subsequent wet filter cake of said copolymer to obtain an ultra-pure methyl vinyl ether-co-maleic anhydride copolymer.

    Abstract: A hand-carry gravity-driven water filter with high throughput and water disinfection performance is formed. Membranes used for this water filter can be fabricated using electrospun method and non-solvent induced phase inversion method. A novel composite membrane structure (interwoven composite structure) was designed for further enhances water permeability and mechanical strength. The composite membrane can be composed of nanofibers with different diameter from the same polymer or different polymers. Membrane porosity and surface pore size can be controlled. Silver nanoparticles can be in-situ loaded on the surface of the membranes. The developed filter is effective for removal of a wide range of contaminants (e.g., pathogens, suspended solids and heavy metals). The purification process can be carried out under the drive of gravity (with an option for mechanically-enhanced filtration) without electricity.
