    Abstract: A system and method for conducting business transactions with improved user data storage security. Business transactions are scheduled on a user computer such as a cellular phone or a desktop. In conducting a business transaction at the user computer, the user provides an encryption key and causes the user computer or a connected server to decrypt user's data that has been previously stored on the user computer or a server to produce usable data. The server then uses the usable data to complete the intended business transaction. Scheduled business transactions on the user computer include making recurring payments, issuing digital check, making inaudible payment over an active voice connection, managing credit and medical records, conducting multiple-party business transactions, performing computation services, reviewing documents, etc. Sensitive user's data are stored in an encrypted form, thereby eliminating the incentives to hack the user data database and stopping mass data breaches.

The user's sensitive data is encrypted by using a user-provided encryption key and saved on the server. Each time in conducting a business transaction, the user provides an encryption key and causes the encrypted user's data to be decrypted on a server or a client computer. The resulted usable user data is then used in conducting business transactions such as making payment, making bank transactions, managing credit reports, medical records, and personal information, conducting multiple-party business transactions, doing computation services, etc. The encryption of stored data by using different private keys will remove the incentive to hack the whole database and thus create an ecosystem discouraging repeated mass data breaches.
