Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a positioning method, a positioning server, and a positioning system. The positioning method includes: separately obtaining, by a positioning server, location coordinates of M positioning nodes; separately obtaining, by the positioning server, a reference signal time difference RSTD between an ith positioning node and an (i+1)th positioning node in the M positioning nodes and a jth mobile terminal in two mobile terminals; determining, by the positioning server, a relative RSTD according to the RSTD; and determining, by the positioning server, location coordinates of the two mobile terminals according to the relative RSTD and the location coordinates of the M positioning nodes.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to the field of mobile communications technologies, and in particular, to an indoor positioning method and an apparatus. In this solution, a positioning server obtains floor numbers of floors on which at least one base station is located; the positioning server receives identification information of a first terminal; the positioning server determines the first terminal according to the identification information; and the positioning server determines vertical location information of the first terminal according to the floor numbers of the floors on which the at least one base station is located. When a terminal is located indoors, positioning is meaningful only when a specific floor on which the terminal is located is determined.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a positioning information processing method and apparatus. The method includes: receiving, by a test terminal, a cell-specific reference signal sent by a base station, and obtaining an original cell-specific reference signal; obtaining, by the test terminal, a multipath characteristic quantity according to the received cell-specific reference signal and the original cell-specific reference signal; and sending, by the test terminal to a server, RSRP, timing information, and a multipath characteristic quantity that are corresponding to each test site, so that the server implements a positioning service.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a positioning method. When a primary cell PCell and a serving cell SCell that are of user equipment UE have different uplink-downlink configurations at a same subframe location, and the UE does not support simultaneous transmission and reception, the method includes: receiving, by a first device, positioning information of the UE, where the positioning information includes positioning assistance information, or positioning assistance information and a UE identifier, and the positioning assistance information includes at least positioning reference signal PRS information, or PRS information and a Cell ID; determining, by the first device and according to the positioning information, that the UE performs PRS measurement at the same subframe location of the SCell that has same configuration, and avoiding, by the first device, scheduling data or configuring a sounding signal sounding at the same subframe location of the PCell and the SCell that have different configurations.
