  • Publication number: 20240063821
Abstract: Scalable, parallelizable quantum error correction on surface codes can be performed using a decoder graph. Overlapping decoder graph windows can be generated using the decoder graph. First corrections can be independently determined for each of the overlapping decoder graph windows. First core corrections can be retained for core regions of each of the overlapping decoder graph windows. Non-overlapping decoder graph windows can be generated using the decoder graph. The temporal boundaries of the non-overlapping decoder graph windows can be the temporal boundaries of the corrected core regions of the overlapping decoder graph windows. Second corrections can be independently determined for each of the non-overlapping decoder graph windows based on the temporal boundaries of the corrected core regions. The first core corrections and the second corrections can be combined to form a complete set of corrections for the decoder graph.

  • Publication number: 20230420835
Abstract: Disclosed is an integrated structure of a differential dielectric resonator antenna and a separately controllable dual-band filter. The integrated structure includes a dielectric substrate, a rectangular dielectric resonator and a feed structure. Two functions, i.e., an antenna function and a filter function, which do not interfere with each other, are realized at the same time. Differential excitation is performed on a main mode of the rectangular dielectric resonator, so as to design a differential dielectric resonator antenna. A separately controllable first passband of the filter is integrated and realized on a virtual ground of the differential dielectric resonator antenna, and then a separately controllable second passband of the filter is realized by using a reflection ground. The antenna and the filter share the same module, but maintain good isolation, such that the number and volume of microwave devices in a radio frequency system can be reduced.

  • Patent number: 11748919
Abstract: A method of image reconstruction for a cross-modal communication system is disclosed. The method reconstructs a damaged, lost, or delayed image signal during transmission by using complete haptic signals received by a receiving end in the cross-modal communication system, and further constructs a cross-modal interaction network with reference to an attention mechanism, thus solving the limitation of the conventional generation model that it can only be trained on paired samples. An image reconstruction device for a cross-modal communication system is also disclosed. By fully utilizing semantic correlation between different-modality data and realizing cross-modal generation from haptic signals to image signals for unpaired data, the present invention overcomes the difficulty in acquiring haptic-image signal pairs in the practical cross-modal communication system, and significantly improves the quality and class accuracy of generated image signals.

  • Patent number: 11699004
Abstract: One embodiment described herein provides a system and method for simulating behavior of a quantum circuit that includes a plurality of quantum gates. During operation, the system receives information that represents the quantum circuit and constructs an undirected graph corresponding to the quantum circuit. A respective vertex within the undirected graph corresponds to a distinct variable in a Feynman path integral used for computing amplitude of the quantum circuit, and a respective edge corresponds to one or more quantum gates. The system identifies a vertex within the undirected graph that is coupled to at least two two-qubit quantum gates; simplifies the undirected graph by removing the identified vertex, thereby effectively removing the two-qubit quantum gates coupled to the identified vertex; and evaluates the simplified undirected graph, thereby facilitating simulation of the behavior of the quantum circuit.

  • Publication number: 20230141379
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for implementing arbitrary single-qubit quantum gates using sequences of single-qubit quantum gates. The systems and methods can implement a first quantum gate in a gate sequence by applying a first sequence of phase-shifted pulses to the qubit. After applying the first quantum gate, a second quantum gate in the gate sequence can be implemented by applying a second sequence of phase-shifted pulses to the qubit. The implementation of the second quantum gate can introduce an additional rotation. This additional rotation can be independent of the implementation of the first quantum gate. A pulse in the second sequence can be configured to implement: a virtual Z gate having a first rotation angle; an X gate having a second rotation angle; and the virtual Z gate having a negative of the first rotation angle.
